The Guild Wheel in Preston. BookofPilx to take you on a tour ready for our annual fundraising event around the whole 21 miles of it.

The route starts from the Royal British Legion in Middleforth and takes you towards Preston Docks and along the bypass into Ashton, passing the golf club following the canal before it takes you through Uclan Sports arena and then to Cottam passing the Ancient Oak.

From here you head towards Fulwood down all the lanes while passing ASDA on your right. This then leads to behind Broughton High School which leads you down to the bottom and then up Durton Lane.

You then have the zebra crossings and passed Fulwood ASDA on your right. A few mile from here you reach Blue bell way services that leave 7 miles to go along Lancashire Way and Ribble way which is part of the wheel.

As you go through Preston crematorium you go down the 20% hill leading to Brockholes nature reserve. If you like bird watching this is the place to be. At the end of the nature reserve you get on the River Ribble. From here you just follow the Ribble all the way back to Avenham Park, one of Preston’s biggest attractions with the Chinese gardens and miller park at the finish.
