I bought it to replace my wife’s 2013 Avail rim brake. This is a full ultegra (except crankset) bike. Rear derailleur and right shifter had a crash and are scruffed up, shifts fine but ugly, so planning a full overhaul: new tubeless carbon wheels (elitewheels G45), new RD (GRX810), new ultegra crankset, new shifter hoods, new chain, new cassette and new bar tape are all ordered and on the way.
Bike cost:$1000
New components cost: approx $1100
Sell replaced components:+$200
Sell old bike: +$500
Still will be way better equipped than a brand new $1400 bike IMO
