Hey! What! happened! Not only are the streets of Paris being shredded everywhere you look and reformed into new things, but there’s one type of vehicle you don’t see on the road anymore, and it’s kind of a relief. Personally, I’m happy to see them gone. The trotinette! Or the

Scooters were the scourge of the street, and now they’re gone. However, that doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t be a responsible scooter rider here in Paris, now does it? So there’s got to be a way to do it still. I mean, they’re fun, but illegal? How are we going to solve this problem?

But first, a quick look at the spire. It’s amazing. It’s like it’s out of scaffolding. You can see the base now, which I’m guessing is made out of wood, and the top is coated in lead. I saw it from the other

Side recently, so I knew that it was out of the scaffolding. But it looks stunning. It looks beautiful. And we’ll see how long it takes to finish the roof. Anyways, we need to gather the Greeks, and then we need to

Send them out on a fleet of scooters, and then we’ll see if we can find our Troy or if we end up, if this is the Odyssey part, in which case, hopefully this video comes out on time. Oh, hey, that’s my song! Encumbered with dog stuff. How you doing?

– Hi. I thought you weren’t coming. – He’s not. So we met up at Saint-Germain, the church, and then just walked down the street to pick up the bikes. Bikes? The scooters. Whee. And then away we go! So mine’s… Oh I got scootie and the blowfish. Yeah!

[squeel] [bell ring] You all right? – Yeah. I thought your phone was going to fall, so I wanted to catch it. – Oh wow, yeah, sacrifice the phone, not your face. This is a really fun way to get around, to be honest. And the nice thing is,

It’s low exertion. As long as you can keep your balance and don’t go tumbling off, it’s pretty solid. Even Cooper loves it. So far, so good. Not only is this like, a fun way to get around town, but I would argue that

Ridden a scooter before. They want to round off their Paris trip by doing something new, seeing it in a new way. Or they’ve come here before, they’ve done a bike tour, they want to ride a scooter. Or you’ve been walking a lot, your legs are tired, you just

Stand still on this thing. It brings you around. Plus, it’s kind of the future. It’s a clean way of getting around. Same as bikes, obviously, but this is just a little different. I find it a bit more fun. Bikes are great, but this is fun. It’s like you’re flying

Along, you’re zipping! – And you spend so much time in bike lanes and it’s very, very safe. A lot of fun. I’ve done it multiple times. But Mark is also probably the single best tour guide in Paris. I mean, there’s nobody more entertaining than this. He’ll take good
