Had to get the πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ 🍌 outside and see what these Reserves are all about.

This is my first set of wheels, coming in at 1530g with tubeless tape and DT 350s. I’m using tubes tho. Old school here.

So – are they fast?!?!

Well, They don’t spin up any faster than my stock DT Swiss Spline 1850s, but they are lotta fun >20mph. They corner well, and the loss of 130 grams make a big difference on a mile climb at 6-7%.

(I know that’s not steep to some of you sprinting climbers who weigh <150 lbs, but I’m 6’6” 215.)

I took a couple potholes, without any cracks, chips or loss of true, but I’m not exactly aiming for them either.

The 350 hubs aren’t loud, or silent, but they engage NICELY, and I can freewheel and be NOTICED.

Another note: these are HOOKED, so I can run all kinds of tires.

Verdict: at $1500 and 1530 grams hooked, they can do it all, decently. I get a nice warranty too.

Yes I could have gone Light Bicycle, and customized some stuff, but, I chose these for my own reasons.
