Orkneyingsaga team took on the challenge in the All Roads Lead To Rome fundraiser for the My name’5 Doddie Foundation in aid of MND.
The Journey stated with a over night ferry from Orkney to Aberdeen where they then cycled down through Scotland and England, crossed over to France via the Euro tunnel to Calais, through France, Monaco then down through Italy into Rome. Journey off some 2000 miles and raising over £20k.
The route took in some amazing scenery as they traveled over the lower French Alps with its Energy Sapping mountain climbing roads over the mountains..
