Commute/Hybrid Bike Choices
Hey everyone.
**Level of experience:**
> the Kart biker I owned was a Walmart special mountain bike from ~2010.
**Price Range and second hand?**
>Sub $1,000 CAD
**Intention with bike?**
>Mostly pavement with the option for easy gravel/trails. (For Vancouver people think UBC commute)
**How far, how often?**
>I will be riding 3x/week 15km (30 km round trip) with some inclines
**Riding Conditions**
> As previous, mostly pavement. Any reasonable weather including a little rain. With some car traffic.

>Male, 5’9″, 190lbs, decent shape but been less active in recent years. Soccer X2 days per week, 5km run x1 day per week, daily dog walks
I’ve been trawling craigslist and local bike groups pretty frequently over the past few weeks.
Ready to just buy something new if I can’t find the right Craiglist quality/price.
