Help choosing between Emonda or Teammachine
Looking to put a 2019 Domane SL 7 disc w/ Ultegra Di2 11-spd on a trainer and get something updated for outdoors.
I ride in flat Florida, another thing to note is I’ve shopped with Trek for about 7 years now and am known by name at the shop.
LBS where discounted BMC is, I would be a new customer as I have never stepped foot inside.
Seems I’ve narrowed it down to 2 bikes, I think…

Con:
– Power meter needs daily calibration?
– Unsure if going from Ultegra 11-spd to Rival 12-spd is a downgrade?
Pro:
– Can get this bike for around 3,000$USD
Con:
– No carbon wheels included (but a thought I’ve had is to sell the factory wheels & upgrading to carbon might still be cheaper than the Trek)
– Break routing is not fully internal
– Would need to get a power meter installed on my crank
So that leads to my question, which of the 2 bikes sound like a good value/ upgrade given my circumstances. Is BMC the clear winner with more of a higher end product?
I can test ride a smaller size Emonda but cannot test ride a BMC even near my size.
Thanks, look forward to some input as the Trek sale ends on the 15th
