I wanted to make something a bit like ‘how much are bikes with the exact same build specs’ but that became way too much work for no real reason. Best I could do is set a lower limit on parts, and then find the cheapest model a brand offers that doesn’t include ‘no-no parts’ (basically SX/Xfusion/Recon/Judy/etc)
So the lower limit is NX or Deore with like BomberZ2 or 35GoldRL and Deluxe or Float more or less. And this is the list I came up with the cheapest models you can get from a brand (above that limit):
MSRP prices only. Only did US-centric bikes you are likely to find in stock and able to buy.
It’s starting to look pretty good as the industry normalizes. One interesting thing was the Spire being the cheapest model right now. Likely as Transition has all the others on sale to be cleared out. But I wonder how much they will be when re-listed at MSRP. Scout/Patrol/etc. Also those Ripmos with GX for 3k are kinda insane now…
