“That’s our mission, to save bicycles and show them to people”
Along the route on the TDA Trans Europa Tour there is a very special museum just off the bike path that isn’t owned by any government body, instead it’s ran by a local family in Saulkrasti, Latvia. It started out as a hobby of collecting old and unique bicycles and restoring them for Guntis and Janis Seregins to where they now put them on display in a museum created in the backyard of the families home. Eduards Seregins, one of the sons of Guntis, shows us around the museum for us to learn more about them and the history behind the bicycles as well as Latvia’s role in bicycle manufacturing.
