Hi All. I’m planning to ride the Straddle and Paddle route this year (Northern Minnesota). Looking for recommendations on best time of year. I hear it can be quite wet and muddy in the spring and bugs are crazy in the summer. Have you ridden the route in the spring, summer or fall? What was your experience? Also appreciate any recommendations on camping locations.
