Just finished my second ride with my new Ultimate CF SL 8 Aero – after finishing the first ride a week ago with the classic fall to the side as this bike is my first bike with clipless pedals.
Luckily, I mostly hurt myself and only minor parts of the bike.
The process of getting the bike ready was quite exhausting though, as it arrived on Jan 9th with several problems:
The fork had to be replaced as it was defective, the brakes’ trigger points were calibrated differently and I found several scratches across the frame.
But, apart from a 10% voucher which was still available during the purchase in Germany in Jan ’24, I could get everything fixed for free in a canyon partner workshop (where they found out about the defective fork) plus I managed to negotiate another 5% cash rebate granted from canyon.
