Hi all! Not sure this is the right sub for this question – but looking for people’s opinions on these two bikes that I am trying to decide between.

Bombtrack [Beyond ADV+](https://www.bombtrack.com/my24/complete-bikes/beyond-plus-adv)

Wilde [Supertramp](https://www.wildebikes.com/products/supertramp)

About me: Looking for a capable and fun bike to ride for bikepacking ie. prioritizing tire volume/roll-over and a relaxed, comfortable riding position with flat/alt bars.

I own several other bikes (a full suspension bike, a gravel bike and a road bike). I don’t find drop-bars comfortable for long distances.

Note: I think I would build the Supertramp up from the frame with 27.5×2.8 wheels/tires. I would do everything except installing the headset. Quick calculations brings it out to both bikes being about the same price (using some already owned parts for the Supertramp). I already have a second narrower rimmed wheelset that I would use for “fast” on-road/gravel tires for either bike as well.

Main use: off-road and mixed surface bikepacking. Some daily riding just for under/over biking fun, when not trying to go particularly fast.

Main debate in my head: Bombtrack feels more utilitarian (bigger wheels and suspension corrected) and could fit a wider range of riding types; Wilde is more beautiful, but also has more frame bag space. ie: Bombtrack feels like a “tool for the job” vs. the Wilde might be a bit more “fun”.

I’ve ridden both and find both and found both extremely comfortable and fairly sprightly. I won’t consider bikes I haven’t ridden (and don’t live in a place where I can try many bikes of this variety).

If you were me… which would you go for? What factors do you value? Haven’t ever owned a bike like this, so I am curious what other people think!
