I’m looking for my first real road bike and I think I’m between the Ultimate and the Emonda. I had thought with the Canyon you’d typically get more bike for the money but the Trek is significantly on sale. I can get the Ultimate CF SL 7 for $2,800 or the Emonda SL5 for $2,700 – for the same 105 groupsets (I believe).

Am I missing something obvious? Is the Emonda at this price a good value? Thanks for any thoughts or considerations!
