Dylan’s been a bike mechanic for over 20 years and he’s going to show us top 10 of my loves no Quick Squeeze let go and there you are on the lv’s crimpin tools really simple to use just pop the end cap on the end of

The cable grease them tight let go and there you are you got a nice neat finish they’re much less likely to snap or Fray the end of the cable by using a simple snip for pliers time and time again we see the tubes and handlebars cut on an angle like this one

Here terrible job done by a hacksaw we use this tool here made by bman really awesome bit of Kit just pop it over the tube just to the correct diameter then just literally very little effort that then cuts that nice and straight and nice and neat really cool products just come to

The market nog Scout alarm air tag built in really NE neat bit of Kit just pops on your water bottle cage like you can see here and the other really neat thing is the the bols are actually long enough to mount a water bottle cage as well and

Comes with an app that you just download and you can locate your bike effectively wherever you want for £49.99 about20 more than a Apple Air tag and you do get the alarm with it as well really does stop things like top bolt on a stem here making sure that the stereotip is

Correctly in line with that bolt using this tool here which is what we swear by in the workshop made again made by stands remove prestor or shra valves this tool is about £10 we like to keep some of these bottles little 2 oz 60 mil bottles from stands perfect

Measurement for road bike up to 208c Tire pop the solution in there from your big bottle pop it on the valve core squeeze it in one toour in the workshop we swear by is the nipex Snips here we’ve tried many Snips over the years from the likes of

Park to Etc um they do the job fine but they just never last these ones are really inexpensive you can get them at pretty much any hardware store trust me they work way better than a Park Tool cutter as you can see nice and straight nice and neat nice and quick it’s

Exactly what you want when you’re saving time in a workshop another really cool product I like at the moment is the brook scape bike packing bags available in green and black really nicely fitted on this bike here starting around £45 for this one up to about 135 so not the cheapest but

Made by Brooks you just know they just going to last forever quality of these bags just feel awesome just by the touch and looking at the seam here and the zip just how was made really really well they’re 100% waterproof as well the way they fit on is so simple with this Bel

Gr fasten here which is all really soft so it won’t scratch a frame or mark it in any way and it holds the frame really snugly really awesome bit of Kit rolloff chain Checker wear indicator gauge cannot be in the workshop recommend using this chain Checker tool regularly I’d say probably every three

Months along those lines if you’re using on your bike a lot really simple to use just pop it on the Chain indicator shows 05 then that’s the time to replace the chain what you can do is you can actually replace a chain much sooner which in theory will preserve life for

Your cassette on the back there so we tend to find every three chains to one cassette something like that if you do look after it us like most good bik Shop sell the park tool chain wear indicator here really inexpensive worth invested in I’ve spent years trying to find a

Really good chain lube that’s firstly clean not going to flick up load of black Muk and also going to preserve the life of the drive train only really this last few years we’ve came across this which is Squirt Loop comes a nice little bottle here 120

Simple to apply as you would any chain loop but the one difference with this one is it’s a wax based Loop you do want to make sure the chain is fully degreased and clean before you apply this Lube if you don’t then you’re actually just building up dirt on top of

Dirt um and being a wax based formula everything will just stick to it we do get some really positive comments actually and people do come back and buy it so it’s great stuff and I use it on mine and it really does preserve the life of your chain so hopefully you guys

Have enjoyed my top eight must haves please like subscribe and share this video all the best bye

  1. Those elvedes crimping tools are just generic deutsch plug crimping tool. You can get deutch plug crimping tools for $30 aud (£15.66) you just need to get the right gauge crimps.

  2. Nice video but it would be a long time before the crimping tool made my "must have" list. Probably more useful if you're in a workshop and doing the job every day.
