I took my gravel bike in for a heavily needed service, was recommended the ultra cl-800 rotors and Aztec Brake pads. I already had my TRP SPYRES. This was about 2 weeks ago.
I’ve noticed a lot of screeching and squealing while braking. A lot more than usual and horribly high pitch, even on dry days.
I can see where the brake is cutting into the fan… was told this is normal by mechanic. Pics attached.
Do I have the wrong kind of brake pads, the front is 160 and is sitting on a 160 bracket and the rear is 140 and has no sign of cutting into the fan.
