I currently ride a 100mm XC bike that’s fairly stiff. It’s just about enough to have fun on my local trails. I got the XC bike because I just wanted something that’s very light. Stock it was 10.3kg no pedals and right now with a full brake upgrade, more grippy tires, add a dropper, and XTR SPD pedals, it’s 11.4kg.

I plan on going to Whistler since I live not too far from there. and this is kind of the trail I want to hit [https://youtu.be/xBZGu6Ckl4Q?si=xsw9NJHSdYOeAsDU](https://youtu.be/xBZGu6Ckl4Q?si=xsw9NJHSdYOeAsDU)

Izzo is the bike I am thinking of buying for whistler. I won’t be doing any big drops or big jumps, or any black runs. Just technical blue. I want something more capable than my XC, but also isn’t too sluggish pedalling, something still easy to throw around, lively. Izzo, upgraded to 140mm fork, seems to be the answer.

And it’s 1400 CAD off right now!

Has anyone here ran Izzo at whistler in the past? I hear people say 150mm is the min you want for whistler. How does the Izzo perform at Whistler?

Thanks!
