Welcome to Croatia absolutely beautiful day a misty start I have to tell you but it burnt off and of course now it’s the weather that we kind of have come to expect in this wonderful country gorgeous time of year to come and visit him as you can see the Riders setting
Off this morning in um some fine fine conditions should we check out how we got here before we join our coverage live laughs and so stage four it was deemed as the Queen’s stage and a little bit of trepidation at least at the very beginning before we got ourselves a
Breakaway sorted out in the end it was not too much of a threat to a person that just held them in advance until we got to our final testing finish and indeed the climb up to leban oh we did this twice so they had a preview they took the bow up to the
Citadel by this time our Breakaway of just three Riders had been wound in well the fast men were here at some bigger heavier perhaps more labored on the climb would they survive that was the big question and how would it pan out could we expect a surprise
That we’d seen on the day prior with paracini well in the end the out and out favor at the beginning of the day was mati mohrich and he kind of lived up to the billing the man from Bahrain Buxton at this point in fact down in about wheel
10 as you can possibly see but that held no fear for him and with 250 meters to go he launched his attack just going down the line of riders was he uh stamping on the pedals up front was Tobias and just could not quite get there Magnus Sheffield very much
Involved as well uh in the white jersey and in fact aloara as well thought about it then replanted himself and brought it home in the end for third place for him but it was Tim Morris and Sheffield towards the line but morich just had that drive when he
Needed it others could have had a better finish unfortunately but it just didn’t quite work out for them the keyboard Kern Farmers Adria just unclipping at a vital moment and going backwards that it was a proper battle at the line and in second place and with the none too small
Matter of the leader’s Jersey as a bomb over his disappointment I think it’s fair to say more Richard lost 48 seconds on the opening stage due to a crash in front of him Must Be Wondering what might have been so mohrich beating Sheffield alar hater Andrew was there uh Denham fetauba as
Well baradi and Eddie Dunbar got himself a good finish after my crush in the first stage obviously the chance is to take to win the race overall became very slim but we wanted to show our dedication and the focus to still bounce back as a team we never give up and we
Wanted to win the stage today to to prove the point and uh the team did a perfect effort they let me out uh nicely and smoothly to the bottom of the last climb and then I knew that uh when I got a gap or an opening space to start my Sprint I just
Went all in all the way to the line and it was enough to take the win so yeah dedicated to the to the team Victorious today and there’s how we stand overall Magnus Sheffield leading the race by just one second over our La will be motivated
Today Ethan H is only at four second margin so in this grounded with a big chance parasini uh the surprise winner of stage three could well indeed because of the sketchy and uh technical finale today could be somebody to watch so watch him as we have been doing
Let’s check out what we’re dealing with then stage five up ahead of us and uh our destination today Ozark and here it is big climb straight out of the back door and in fact we have already of course completed that and I can tell you that
We have a new leader of the mountains classification let’s get to it shall we this is how things started off this morning well again it was a selective group nobody seemed to be wanting to take on the the big test right from the very beginning we were asking ourselves
So busy they were at the top the apologies for our lack of sound momentarily um so yeah a breakaway we do have took a while for it to be established but finally we got ourselves off and underway and indeed uh Rincon avarics would be an extremely busy there of the
Road with the Jonah strap Arthur sawinski is there as well for foster ATS and Fran mihailovic of uh Bahrain Victorious happy All Apologies for our sound issues we’re just working on those at the moment for you so our King of the mountains they came up to the crest and it was wrapped
That took it ahead of mahalovic and sharan everyone else following through and this result meant that rap takes control of the king of the mountains competition so good news for him and indeed for his team who um have kind of been bounced out of that classification well wrap making up for
Uh Marvin Hammerschmidt who took it and then lost it uh yesterday of course that Jersey transferring to the shoulders of um uh of indeed number 94 abrahamson who’d worked very hard to take that or category test a Brampton on duty for others I believe well
Um the great the good are out in this area that’s dedicated of course to uh tourism these days and some spectacular sites there are to see having left clementia this morning beautiful scene almost crystal clear waters as you kind of got used to well indeed uh just heading
Inland and ultimately of course visiting the shoreline once again and so it is that we have our modest break was being held on the margin still waiting to see here’s your first intermediate Sprint mahalovic taking it uh head of sawinski and rap and so um adding to their tally overall and just
Potentially reducing that that Gap to you two sprints have indeed already been completed and the second of those I can tell you was was taken by once again maholiovich 68.3 kilometers from home and you’ll join us live now this is our leaders group rat mahalovich and sawinski they’ve done a good job today
Just one intermediate Sprint remaining for them see well Pippa it’s a um it’s a healthy enough break not quite sure what sort of Gap they’ve got today but unfortunately uh for everybody it’s a it’s a flat road with a a gentle-ish approach but a technical finale today at
Least I’ll get a preview of The Last 500 meters yeah Terms of how technical the Finish is going to be I believe there’s a couple of left-handers so it’s going to be one for the brave again so far we are up on the fastest schedule so most of this race has been conducted at a pace slightly faster than the organizers have allowed for
Which kind of shows you how nice it is to ride here and uh because it’s put almost perfect conditions for bike racing everybody seems to be enjoying themselves check this out the gaps are a minute and 45 and Kyle morale are busy working of course for Allah
Um I’d love to see him go well quite frankly this is the man who’s nursing the white jersey Jersey because we’ve got a youngster leaning overall we have we have we have Magna Sheffield who is the owner of that Jersey aunties who went out to the Adrian mobile Rider today so that Jersey
Seems to be kind of swapped and soldiers quite um shoulders quite regularly or indeed soldiers they’re on the battle today we’ve got a uh quite a technical finale haven’t we ahead of us yeah a little lap of just over three kilometers conducted anti-clockwise which we work on
We were talking about why we go around anti-clockwise something to do with your heart being on the inside of the corner so that was an interesting thing to learn yeah Athletics uh tracks and also as we we realized loading as well on your right hand side a lot of people
Favor the right hand side so we’re easy to run around corners but yeah you’re more comfortable going anti-clockwise I’ve got a race track stick to that uh scenario as well uh ovals and the like just think about NASCAR anyway in fact don’t think about this because Uno X are
Busy so are indeed uh Kern farmer and just about everybody else yeah and the only people that really ought to be riding are in here so you have to wonder why you know XDS DSM and karural are doing the job with them because they have the race leader normally you would
Think the other teams with leads on up to them it’s basically you know at India’s they have Ethan hater and Elia viviani to do the Sprint so you naturally would leave up to them but nope you know X as usual taken control of the head of the Peloton
As they seem to do in almost every race they Toronto here’s Tobias Lund um wearing the Blue Points Jersey he owns it and has gone very strongly probably disappointed I would say by his performance yesterday but can make amends for it today in the Sprint his problem is and I think everyone’s
Problem is that it’s quite a technical finale and we know all about our lard at the end of the day like that so um I know we were big him up yesterday he looked to have lost drive on the very last at the climb but he’s here we know
He’s quick and we know he takes advantage of the misposition of other Riders as well so our third yesterday but he’s only a second down overall because he’s been finishing so strongly yeah and maybe that’s why um are writing to try and take this back in
So he can take those those seconds but I think you know the main favorite today is we were discussing would be Nikola barasini he should not finish the downhill weather was it day three or was that really easy it was yeah um dangerous downhill perfectly okay with a bit of Bravery
When it was needed so very much it could be a case of that again today a young man’s confidence I think um but uh but hey let’s see uh so two minutes actually uh Cara Royal said all right we’re not going to be anyone’s fools uh we’re not going to do
All of the work because we’re not the only only ones who can lose out here and I think we’re now too close to that intermediate Sprint in fact it’s uh they’ve just about rolled through it out front in fact it’s here now I think um they may well have actually already
Completed it because it was due to be taken with 65 kilometers to go so if we’ve missed it apologies but it won’t have an impact on the points competition anyway depending if these three writers want to read kind of any impact on the GC at all so unless if it has been kind
Of Gaiden starred on most of the technical descents because he’s you know the one of the few creation professional writers so he’s been kind of looking after the Peloton but now he’s out front so Bahrain involves he decided they’re going to make this is as hard as they can today
Let’s see it’s interesting as well to just watch watch Campbell Stewart’s Sail by um it was never going to be a feature yesterday because of the climb but he’s got a big chance today actually for Jayco they want to make something of this race don’t forget tomorrow in
Zaggrab we don’t have the the final client that many of you are used to on the crow race it is a straight Sprint tomorrow I’m I’m hoping it’s because of works in the old town which wouldn’t surprise me um and that we do get it back on another
Edition because it’s so it’s quite the finale is uno X done a lot of work in this race haven’t had much payback just yet uh Alexander Kristoff will be hoping to go strongly today in fact he must be amongst the favorites you would imagine so he’s in really great shape he was up
There yesterday obviously he couldn’t win you know it’s just slightly too hard for him and the kind of lead out that Magnus Sheffield imposing everybody but um you know for him to survive that that first lap was already fresh impressive so he’s in good shape here and so the Palatine actually they’re really
Motivated for this um sorry that we’ve we’ve gone through I can only apologize that it looks like the organizers have failed to show us that uh that third intermediate Sprint so um we can only give you what we can see Ethan hater well could it be he today he’s only four seconds down
Overall but he’d have to deny his teammate Magnus Sheffield who leads the race and there’s gonna have to be some talk between them all as hater number 11 just rolling up is Luke Rowe presumably instilling what the battle plan is today and paracini number 86 there he is in
The silver with the uh gray and a slightly yellow accented helmet certainly a man to keep tabs on and everyone realizing that he is a proper danger he certainly isn’t the same people consistently fast every day maybe uh Stewart Campbell will take it to him today
It’s hard to say he’s going to be fast at the end of this I think it really depends on how kind of committed they are um that’s your second Sprint result that we’ve just had um we already have that in what we need is the oh here we are here’s your third
Miholovic again um but it’s uh it’s points only the bonus seconds aren’t going to do these guys any good they’re too far down so this is just a kind of raiding party to make your things as difficult as possible behind I won’t be really any panic because none
Of these Riders are any kind of danger to GC they’re no danger to any of the classifications so it’s more of a like I said a kind of have a visit out front and see what becomes of it but um so far oh looks like there’s a crash test there back
The belt on yeah somebody came down for me all the commander oh here we are was well suppose it didn’t see that um a more you know disdain for his ill Fortune than anything else for uh uh torchero Lopez to be honest you know he’s got a young man’s reaction
There you can’t be hanging around um busy it’ll be visiting the medical car in a few moments time and saying have you got anything for a really bad sulk y like that little bridge on the road there yeah like one hand off the bars and Downey cameras ill Fortune but if
You’re okay and it looks like it get up get ready look a bit more urgent he looks a bit more embarrassed exactly yeah and get ourselves some Focus back again lovely roads here I must say slightly cut at the sides so those are naturally it will string out by the time we take
On The Descent these are non-categorized tests that we’re on at the moment and there’s a whole sequence of them actually probably about 20 climblets along the way but it makes for um very pleasant riding in these kind of situations a bit of variation far better than a wide open highway I’m glad we’re
On these Country Roads yeah it’s a really beautiful race so far you have to imagine that anybody who’s watching this um they got sent to those one day races in Belgium riding around kind of the border between the French part and Flanders maybe this was a slightly better option you know it looks
More suitable to help improving your form as you go towards the last races in the year Croatia is beautifully placed um I mean back in the day ahead of their troubles it was it was really enormous as a tourist destination it’s refound itself of course over the
Last few years and magnificently so very clear waters was a sailing Mecca always but you don’t have to sail to come here it’s just that there is a generally constant breezes which help matters today we’ve got a light wind blowing from the Northeast and it’s not troubling us overly in fact
I was just uh gonna check on what our altitude gain is today it’s um reasonably significant let’s get to it at the moment for you the thing that they had did you gain was that it’s all at the starters received that’s right here so after that it’s altitude loss of in the
Start you would have been if you were interested in Gone in the break you’d have been on the on the trainer warming up and then after that if you haven’t made the group then you’re just going to become hiding until until you get to the front bit whether today slightly cooler
Uh 24 degrees so we’ve lost two degrees but um I think we we will be blessed with lovely weather throughout this race two and a half thousand meters of altitude gain today so uh and I think it was 800 meters on the first climb so you
See that that leaves an awful lot of climbing still to be had throughout the day and in fact now we are in a little tiny sort of source that will come up over a lip take another descent and then we have another climb another source uh
Up the other side of the lip you get the idea and in fact I’ll count them for you one two three uh four five six seven eight nine eleven climbs we’ve got none of which are categorized but this lovely rolling terrain uh just my my favorite kind of riding to be honest
Yep nothing too serious it would be a nice day out for a Saturday right maybe not at this speed slightly over 42 kilometers an hour that that may be a bit definitely not testing for the normal Rider you simply be testing for me at my stage in life and certainly me
Although I do roll down Hills nicely low Central gravity so we can see here there’s Oscar on these right around the front so he’s he’s definitely the two of Croatia to improve his hormones on his comeback from injury and even though he’s up there on GC he’s willing to work
On the front for his teammates yep Tobias Lind um who has been very much part of our thoughts throughout this race LED it of course but now the overall leaders pass to Magnus Sheffield um in terms of the GC we might get some changes today we could well do you know
You have to wander in in the team meeting that inios would have had do they go with Ethan H or given that there’s going to be two Sprint stages left you know so if if they commit to Elia viviani leaving now Ethan hater he can win this race through the bonus seconds
And that would certainly be an option for them so there is well I love the way this race has panned out quite frankly um and I’m very much looking forward to seeing how we run for home um which is a constant I’m actually looking here trying to find my results dossier so I
Can just update you I’ll do I’m gonna I’m gonna refined it just done it now so overall um is again somebody that you need to take um a very close look at Eddie’s done by yesterday coming home in uh fourth uh sorry in 10th Place and uh

Four seconds down teammate at Mega Sheffield a paracini who’s the big threat today I think um and I think in a certain regard it’s probably lucky that for other teams that the Breakaway has been hoovering up with the bonus seconds in the intermediates of which are the nine bonus seconds
Available you then have a huge um raft of riders including Andy Dunbar the Irishman from Jayco on eight seconds down so it’s very very tight out there uh mapped in and from DSM who we’ve already said is likely to be on duty for potentially others let’s see we have Berardi
Um we have uh from ikeboken farmer from Euro committee we have feta galvar from adri mobile Eddie Dunbar as well and then otruba from atnt Thailand from uxt as well as Alexander Christopher’s in nine seconds which means that if Alexander Christoph wins today um he’s gonna Vault up the rankings with
Another Sprint tomorrow Kristoff could be a Raider he could so are they gonna is everybody going to base their Sprint on one Alexander Christoph this is kind of the furthest back I would imagine not I think today parisini’s gonna win who do you think thank you viviani I’d love to see it
Well another spectacular cast this looks like a castle I had when I was a kid obviously not this big it’s very small made of cardboard but um but yeah another fun you used to have before the internet I was bored just like the other kids two minutes of the Gap with just under
58 kilometers to go three-man Breakaway they’ve made a good fit to this two minutes they certainly have them looking at the the terrain that they’ve gone over if you’re down the back of that Peloton it strings are on every descent so you’ll be every time we come to one
Of these little little uphill plants and they’re not long so so they they shouldn’t hurt too much because you’re going to be sprinting up them every time and then eventually that is going to get very wearing certainly is well another beautiful sight for us to ponder sadly of uh
Missing from the notes that we’ve been provided with here if I managed to find it I will indeed fill you in but um some ancient they’ve been with they’ve been human hand on the landscape here since ancient times and we’re constantly reminded of that fact and it does look
Extremely verdant how still is that River it’s beautiful isn’t that amazing I don’t think that the guys in the pelotonin once you go back to 30 position or so you’re not going to really be seeing much of this it’s a shame because it’s absolutely glorious well there’s proof positive we’ve got a
Helicopter here um just uh playing with us just for the time being cameras just uh dwelling now upon our Breakaway it’s a wearing terrain more than anything else if you’re trying to take it at PACE and maintain a gap they’ve done a good job though at two minutes I’m not sure I
Believe a two minute margin now though no I don’t imagine this has gone far and looking at how militants is knocking lumps out the other two I can see this falling up falling apart just by natural selection because he’s obviously it will to a level much much
Stronger than that and these two County Riders oh there we are with their gaps on the overall so um of uh of no consequence but I guess dwelling on the chase you can see how committed it is for um Alexander Kristoff who would like
This to be quite a tough day so if they can make these small climbs as punishing as possible on the other fast men I think that’s part of the battle plan for Uno X yeah you’d imagine so um so they they seem quite far down on GC when you
Look at just the results but because it’s so close and Alexander Kristoff who sits fairly well back when you look at it so he’s what back in about 10th 12th position but he’s only at nine seconds so he can still take the race leads he’d probably be in their interest to
Fire off a couple of riders as they get closer to the Finish just to make things a little bit more interesting and they don’t have to do most of the work other teams might ever see in that I think there’s a there’s a certain sense
Isn’t it that um if you if you’re on the front doing much of the chasing you could make life hard for those in the pack but the hiding room it’s actually far better I think to pose a threat with a fast man who’s going to be sacrificial
For your team who operates as a threat to everybody else and they’re actually forced to to chase on so let’s see let’s see who’s got the strength because it’s deep into the season as well isn’t it there’s a lot of fatigue out there I mean you look at the graphics so that
The profile that we’ve been given this is and to be flat so obviously they’ve just kind of averaged it up because yeah if you look at the size of the key or the Riders are using here this is the little ringer and a big sprocket it’s absolutely right I mean I think
When they did the altimetry they had to account for a very big client at the beginning of the day they’re taking that out and then done the artillery for the rest of the stage we’d be looking at it thinking this is a nightmare but we worked it out mathematically 800 meters
Of altitude gain on the first climb which is a big one category one in fact we’ve got a new king of the mountains man who’s in the break uh rap but all the rest of it that’s still left um about 1800 meters of climbing cramped
Into the rest of the day yeah and it’s all little kickers of yeah kind of 10 20 meters at a time and then on the downhills slightly technical it strings it turns on it kind of it lines out again and you’re back down the back thinking
You can have a sleep or a little bit relaxing time in your he received a kind of perfect example of that it Windsor okay on the downhill the riders that front press on a little bit to get a bit of speed up for the next the next uphill and down the back
They’ll be scrabbling again farmer looked Lively I’m wondering if this is for Roger Adria they’ve lost two of their number Pierre went home yesterday they’ve lost Galva as well so there was a bit more of an attrition wasn’t there yesterday we lost five Riders yeah we might have used five
Riders so we’re down to 105. so I think from the start we’ve lost about 11 Riders so so not too bad considering but it’s not exactly easy to arrange most days Phantom it’s been slightly higher than the fastest schedule so so kind of shows that it’s nice conditions
So here we are you look at the front of the pulse at the moment it says a minute and 43 so I think we’ve eased up just a little bit they’ve probably dropped into catching mode but our Breakaway is um a half decent one I have to say of
Our brakes these look like the most believable so far um I’m not quite sure whether I’m overregging the pudding here but um you know these I I guess having um miholiovich up front adds a certain amount of credence to this group as well you know he’s he’s no slouch for Bahrain
It’s a good time trial list as we’ve mentioned of him before looks like there’s been a bit of a kerfuffle at the back here when then nobody wants to do invoke the chase too much when it comes to the climb so they’re concertina ring up and you’re getting those touches of
Wheels aren’t you yeah and at the back there scrabbling for a position maybe up here you see with the body language is how stressed it is certainly is so our break with maholiovich Croatian um in fact uh National time trial champion on two occasions and is Croatian national champ uh time trial
Champion so he wants to get up front and that’s a proper danger for everybody because the main characteristic of um being a time trialist and he’s only 21 he’s only just turned 21 as well in August so as a 20 year old he won the national time
Trial championships and not only that he won it back to back he’s no slouch and he’s up the road and he is making us talk about him and he’s a proper danger if he just kicks on nobody quite knows what power he’s got no looking at how he’s riding
I think this is his two companions and they know exactly how strong it is he seems to be doing all the uphills and because he knows where he is he’d have been he was like you know he knows these roads better than the other two he’s
To be doing a lot of the downhills as well and taking a couple of rents out of his of his friends over the moment and um it’s definitely the strongest circle of freedom and by far indeed well let’s see how he finishes the job just looking in at mati mohrich
Start off as race favorite then on day one uh gets caught behind a crash and it all fell to pieces for him right there and then big kick on from Cairo this is nice it’s a highly Mikhail is going for it and uh in fact one of
His teammates are a bigger partner um but uh it’s all ultimately for all us our lard and I am very much looking forward to seeing how he goes as you probably heard constantly throughout this race I’m very pleased that I was bigging him up right from the start and he’s only a second
Down yeah he is definitely your favorite here to see that now even though occasionally I’ve been calling him alua so I apologies it’s our la yeah it’s him Mike Simon gets the veteran being on occasion so watch out for the bright yellow Jersey slightly bleached out from that
Picture of the helicopter bit get the idea and Kyra around know that if they can make this race tough oh no yesterday even on the climb don’t forget he’s a sprinter I was third hey he looked out of resources yesterday but he was in elevated company he was the quickest man
Um if you like in yesterday of the quick man he was the best uh you had more rich and uh Sheffield ahead of him now I know mohrich is quick in a Sprint situation but our Lara I think he’s quicker and he’s a purer sprinter so let’s see so
What you were saying he was the climbiest Sprinter that was there that’s the words I was looking for thank you I think the property Advantage he had over the other sprinters was it slightly smaller so it’s not quite as heavy when you fight gravity uphill that tends
To help definitely let’s see how he goes today shall we uh this is them setting their stall out interesting that you know X are doing a job this is for Alexander Christoph of course team DSM are doing a job this is for Tobias Lund who’s extremely well
Placed as well and um Pavel Bitner in fact Tobias London yesterday lost a bit of ground didn’t he let’s have a look where is he uh Anderson overall for DSM Matt Denham is the uh is the best placed of DSM in the general classification and in fact yeah he did lose a significant
Amount of ground in fact he was um he had found himself in more than a little bit of trouble so DSM did they fall in behind um Matt didn’t or indeed do they try for something else Oscar only um who was their favorite it’s still only 17 seconds down it’s hard to find
Isn’t it with the um with The High Ground that’s now Beyond us it’s a different profile and suddenly you have to recalibrate Yeah so basically it turned into kind of two one day races now they’re going to end in the Sprint are you going to allow that
To happen when you don’t have a really big Sprinter or somebody who’s as fast as the riders that are here and traditionally in that kind of situation DSM have always went on the offensive and hopefully they’ll try and do that today yeah to Iceland yesterday um as leader um disappeared didn’t he
The the uh the leaders read Jersey I’m afraid was way off the back so they’re going to have to recalibrate so um let’s bring it home shall we looking at um some of the others yeah probably Bitner fast man he was uh he was missing in action as well yesterday
So uh the three of the roads if anyone is gonna have a chance here then it’s uh it’s Fran maherjevich and she’s not going to have the opportunity I don’t think there are exchanging duties behind but only as to who’s going to be nearest to this man on the front
It’s a big task but he’s making a good fist of it at the moment in fact he’s been doing much of the work before this Breakaway as Speaker was just saying for much of the day here’s the chase DSM still invoked so um what’s their battle plan for today then
Wow if only be new we just have to sit under the team even briefing to see what was going to happen today it’s for dinner isn’t it so it’s a bit nervous is quite fasting he did the corners of the day when um parisini won so that really um
Technical dangerous downhill on stage three is he gonna try the same kind of Kamikaze you’re taking towards Corners yeah I imagine it’s going to be a bit more difficult because technically it doesn’t look as challenging so there’s no really kind of fight for current you’re all into on a
Down here where people are going to outbreak here so so imagine they’re just kind of can control it and then give themselves some more options as they get towards the final well Oscar only is that was their GC man is it wouldn’t be doing this much work
If it was only for him today uh Matt Denham uh no spin time to speak of at all um one of them will be in a couple of years ago but um and we’re seventh in the world’s under 20 uh three don’t forget um last year but
Um I think it’s clear that we’re going to be going for a Sprint finish today so they’re going to try and get um indeed a a decent finish towards the end um points classification tobiasland still leads that so it might well be that they’re just Jersey hunting let’s see yeah
Could it be a points Jersey that they’re looking forward to buy a stunt it could be so he’s in charge of that for the moment but it’s I don’t think it’s too far to everybody else behind him five points over here it could be difficult he’s been fast consistently
This might be another kind of Hawk out of the fish with because it’s going to be I think it’s going to be the most the kind of fastest finish that we’ve seen so far you know everybody’s going to become fairly fresh well certainly the world tour writers

Even though it’s very tight in the general classification as well and that’s going to have its own refactor I think on a few of those who are up front um overall in the general classification the real Battleground is going to sit between aula hater and Nico parsini I believe
Um Matt Denham will probably have something to say about that for team DSM as well because he could be in stealing mode at the end of the day but he doesn’t have a Sprint classification that isn’t you know up for grabs is the mountains one so we’ve
Seen that kind of tied up today with rap but everybody else is still quite close and there’s no kind of real decision that’s going to be made until probably tomorrow well that’s great that’s what you want with a short stage race they are determined now every time we

Um to move up in the overall but he needed out of character Sprint finish at the end of today for him to take advantage his problem is he’s got parsini who’s only five seconds down on the lead but we know could spend already won a stage uh
Ethan hater is in the frame as well if he kicks on Magnus Sheffield what sort of Sprint will he be able to produce today I’m not sure and the lead May well hand over if it goes to Ethan hater they’ll be reasonably happy but their problem is aola and Indian parisini

Downhills and they’re doing the same in the in the front as well so it’s kind of hover in about 145 two minutes somebody might come down and up and but graduated those three in the front will kind of get worn out just by the being out there and
It’s you know stronger riders in the back then it’s only one kind of reef so knowledge because it’s the strongest out front from the world tour early borrowing team so the other two will help them as much as they can but I don’t see them being either as strong as he is

Them you know once the road comes straight out of it those roads that we’ve been on those kind of back roads up and down in and out almost impossible to see where you are or even know where you are back onto the main road you might be able to see them in the
Distance on a couple of different streets I think so um look at the bumplets that remain about six um and there’s a there’s a particularly sort of spiky one just before we get to more even to rain on our running we better talk about our finish because it’s actually quite complex
Um the the last um what have we got um well we know it’s flat yes we do and we pass our Finish Line on two occasions um and in fact the uh the first passage of the line comes with 18 kilometers to go so it’s a it’s a 17 and a half
Kilometer Loop so as you can probably guess we complete the last 500 meters only of the circuit so you will see the nasty turn at 500 that they’re gonna have to take but in the opposite direction and then of course we’ll be uh the remainder of those 500 meters will
Be a truism a replication of the Finish to come so you’ll see a turn at 300 meters and a little Bend in the road towards the right with um uh at the actual Finish Line itself that’s when they’ll take the bell and then they’ll do that full lap of about
17 and a half kilometers so we’re not that far away from the circuit and everyone wants a good look so they’re going to pull it back just to like pull back Riders usually do just in time for the the important the really important part where you have to turn on 100 focus
And that means seem a strange things are safe so percent Riders they kind of gone along sleep almost sleeping in the middle of the Peloton so you have a certain amount of attention that you need to not be involved in a crash but you’re gonna relax it’s just a little tiny bit before
You have to kind of really commit 100 to the stock and final 30-40 minutes Sheffield um tobiasland um is the man in the points Jersey he’s in the blue abrahamson King of the mountains today but he’s lost that two rappers up the road to category one
Climb and our young Rider there as well for you so yeah um as we head into town uh The Young Riders classification the wearer is gal glyvard of Andrew mobile it’s actually owned by Magnus Sheffield who’s a young man who leads this race but only by a second ahead of alawar get there
There’s somebody very much keeping tabs on me in that regard Breakers uh just stretched a little bit to a minute and three uh with 30 kilometers to go so they’ve actually made a good fist of it but I’ve got a feeling it’s a little a little bit
Less than that clock seems to be constantly adjusting itself just now but nonetheless um it’s uh run for home and that clock is bouncing all over the place I think it’s about 50 seconds um so um yeah we’ll find out as you say once the road straightens out
Just a little bit they’re going to be inside aren’t they oh hello see you fellas you’re not helping me at all this is what uh Fran meholovic had in mind 30 kilometers ago if he can get to the circuit he’s got a chance no I think he’s got a chance of just

Um the uh Matthew morich wants that indeed prize was extinguished on the opening day with uh 48 second deficit they suffered after being caught out by a crash it wasn’t his fault but it came at six kilometers to go on day one so there was no chance of him being given
The time back and despite coming here as uh absolute out and out race favorite he was hobbled too much he did win yesterday so he’s rebuilding his claim but he’s going to run out of stages I’m afraid to make amends and there’s no big climbs either for him to make a
Difference or real rolling terrain I know we’ve had a few lumps and bumps today but it would be America if he managed to come through Miracles occasionally happened but um but let us see we’ll be cheering him on as will indeed the lovely Ashley house is embedded within that team borrowing Victorious
And uh is um uh yeah it’s a great team but just had some terrible terrible fortune and there’s that Gap 57 seconds is your margin 51 you see the clock can’t decide um I think it’s less than that I think it’s about 40 seconds clock’s headed down that way surely they can’t be

A gap opening up here about six or seven bike lengths and I think Kristoff is in the front group but um Mindy I’m saying that and uh yeah I think they’re assembling fully now who’s bridged over as well from in his grenadiers if that’s it is it good policing work by him and

The zone in the night it says I think they are just about to catch uh the duo who were ejected from the Breakaway by the mighty move from Fran meholiovich he’s gone off um it says 860 meters still don’t know where to trust that and indeed at this pays how how quickly is
That um canceled out we’re gonna have 17 and a half kilometers of final lap and this band’s gonna hit the circuit first um and he’ll be there in about seven kilometers time it looks like he’s just tying up a bit I’m not surprised tiny little bit of uphill and he’s not
Having to get out of the saddle so he’s going to get tired things when he he obviously wanted to you know felt he was much stronger than the other two but this is gonna be this will be fatal for him even though you know he’s he’s committed to it
Well we’re debating whether to trust the clock or not um because it keeps bouncing significantly uh where if we haven’t already because it may well be that while we’ve been dwelling on Fran mehalovich who is uh uh uh maholiovich I think everyone who’s up the road um Croatian time trial Champion he’s

Come in to join the circuit with 500 what will be ultimately 500 meters to go they’ll take a right hander which will be a left-hander on the circuit so they take a right-hander to go onto the circuit and join it they will then see the twists and turns a couple of 90 degree
Turns on the approach from 500 meters to the line and that will be useful information um how strong they are at the end of the day is anybody’s guess especially the likes of Campbell Stewart who didn’t climb well yesterday but it’s certainly fast enough and it looks like the Jayco

They can muster it and what this man can do is nearly just at this little Crest a rather unkind that he’s uh not that is not a categorized climb and then he’ll come in and cross the start finish line for the first time at least he gets a
Downhill run to the Circuit he does so that’s that’s interesting but lasts significant little climbus marked on the profile so that would have hurt him now and the guys in the Pelton you could see the amount of kind of punching up there was there from the Riders have been on the
Front and kind of pulling along and everybody else coasting along in their sleep stream it’s hard to measure really um the Cade from the Cadence a uh the power and indeed the pace of the man up front because he is a time trialist I didn’t notice which gearing he was using but
Um he kind of looked like he’s got a more more Surplus about him and he was really pushing on uh there’s some uh this is mashashik just coming up to disturb the chase try and knock that back so Bahrain um Victorious making use of himself I like to see that yeah
Trying to give them the evil so they would stop the you know actually fairly well committed to this well 54 then 48 um seconds it seems like guesswork on the um on the twists and turns here let’s see okay and there hasn’t so far there haven’t been the most

Great fun watching him have a try he’s on the downhill run and in about a couple of kilometers time he’s on the circuit he is sometimes I imagine that’s his objective to waste to that maybe he’s got family at the finish and um he’s kind of worked on as he goes
Through but you know there was someone pressure on the front of the Peloton from lunox so he looks that way we’ll get a definitive gap for you once they cross the start Finish Line of our final lap so once again we joined the circuit with
500 meters of it to go uh as it will be for the final time of asking so let’s see the last 500 I mean just then they’ll hear the bell and then they’ll complete 17 and a half kilometers of out and Out Racing once again uh blue jersey is on the back

Because he’s doing a fantastic job using every car bike anything he possibly can unlike a time trial as he knows how to thread a road doesn’t he the Pelton will come in how many of the team the team on the race cars out of the Gap
So he you know he’s done with them to be we’re on to the Circuit now so um we’ll get our time cap as he crosses the line so here we go um he just meets uh are we are we absolutely on the circuit was that the right hander so that was a right-hander
So there will be 18 kilometers left once he crosses the line apologies so you’re going to see the um uh the last twists and turns that was the uh turn at 500. here is the left-hander it’s kind of a lazy but high speed left-hander isn’t it
To 300 not quite finished with it just yet because the road does waiver a little bit here so it’s a gentle right-hander that takes us to the line and he will take the bow you can hear it tinkling so it’s definitely not 45 seconds he had about 25 position around
That that entrance onto the circuit there we go then we’ll get it out the line so clock’s rolling for you right now and uh it says 50 seconds and we’ll tell you whether that’s a lie or not the belt is um turning upon them and
It’s a very narrow margin so I’m glad we ignored the clock it is 18 seconds so there you go ignore the clock 18 seconds only I’m afraid to um Fran miholiovich there are just from those corners of them that General town is just creeping in at the back

Spin them this quickly um two 15ks to go then right so we’re so heading out of town we’ll cut down towards a river and then follow the river almost all the way back um that will be once we cut through this Woodland section I believe on the left-hand side
So we’re not that far away uh from making the turn um I always feel sorry for Breakaway Riders when they’re at the moment such as this you kind of it’s like being a boxer and you’ve lost every single round you’ve still got to come out for the final round
And you think oh really yeah so it’s about showing a bit of spirit at the moments such as this and the worst thing now is that he he gets caught just at the a really crucial one where there’s a really steep hill and he’ll go straight
Through the back of the belt and that that’s that’s probably the worst thing that can happen to you in this situation luckily there’s no climbing uh remaining because we’re heading down towards uh the river which will take us home looks like Jacob I can’t move it up to yeah
Keep themselves in a decent position here neither of us pick Campbell Stewart today you’ve tested me aren’t you I’m just thinking that’s going to be the winner um did I pick out you know either um he’s gonna do a job he he did his fantastic favor the other day of really
Livening the race up which is brilliant What was a very quiet day it was a boardy finish and I think we’re going to get one again today uh problem for Campbell Stewart’s positioning so and indeed when he launches his Sprint don’t go too early you need to keep his powder dry
So quite often that happens you know so if you if you kind of mess up and you go too late then you go to him to go to a really tall amount of confidence when you’re quite often we see that you know sprinters who haven’t had a win for a while
They’ll you know panic and slightly go go slightly too early whereas the really confident Riders will wait wait wait and then they know that in the last hundred meters or so they’re coming past well here’s your man who did such a good job he is slightly out of the back at
The moment picking it up here for Uno X it’s fade down Norwegian Champion he’s uh on the front right now and they’re clearly the wheels to follow Christoph looming large as he always does Luke Rowe now has taken on the driving duties for any Australia um and um still think their chosen man
Will be Ethan hater first and foremost of course they’ve got to look after Magnus Sheffield just in case yeah so they’ve got two options they’ll have a bit of perspective they’ve got the race needed magnet and Sheffield but also everybody knows that they’ve got two Chances with viviani and hater

Today but might well be in the drive a he’s part of a short lead out train both he and Louis Ben Dixon for Alexander Kristoff who’s been dropped off in a good position before and unfortunately failed to deliver he was third on stage one don’t forget he was third on stage two

His confidence will be up now that he’s won the stage they said yesterday that they were going to win that stage stage four or is it stage funnel stage five yesterday no stage four around five six days so their plan went to you know perfectly and you haven’t really said what they’re
Going to do maybe they’ll be quite happy with that Bahrain with the blue uh sleeve and shorts caps as you can see just uh bouncing away at the moment working for Matia moharic quite clearly uh some Smiles actually with only five kilometers to go shows you how relaxed

Coming he’s had some great finishes in lavuelta finally he’s got this Win Second behind Jeffrey soup on stage seven of Welter and he gets there and a big slap on the shoulders as well for Barcelo and not only does he win the day he takes the
Lead of this race and handsomely so yeah Pro level team takes over that you know the kind of red jersey and I have to say that there’s been a number of surprises every day with this that um well seen as lesser writers stepping up to take stage wins another race lead
I’m so pleased for this man we’ve been well I’ve been banging on about him for quite a month it’s like a stuck record this has been your favorite jersey for the whole race it has and uh with very good reason and here he is I’m so pleased for him leads this race
And takes stage five of The Crow race after so many good finishes on the right hand side of the road there just when Luke will kind of swung over and jumped up on the pavement and then Magnus Sheffield found himself I think I think catching the edge of that place and going down
Probably quite hard as well given these looks like he’s got a little bit of damage to his knee I hope that he is okay this man is absolutely top of the world at the moment they take their time to get wins and here is um make the Sheffield
Roughed up I’m afraid in that finale just darling just having some words with him so he’ll be handing over that red jersey um let’s have a look at it as we come into this scene leads out and um you know yeah we see Luke Road just jumps the payment and
Chef who tried to do the same thing and just cut the edge of that it’s not curbing there so he’d been probably been safer just to stay on the road yeah I think he wanted to stay out of the way of the sprinters because he didn’t really need to get
Involved in that and unfortunately he’s come down well another question in the last 3K he will not lose any time but um he’s lost the Jersey to this man and here we are from the overhead watch our La as they come in now we said if it’s a technical finale he’s gonna have
A chance but I’ve seen he boxed out of it and uh this is where uh perhaps Kristoff should have had the wherewithal to drive on at this point I don’t think he realized he was being stalked yeah I think the problem there is that he suspected that in this we’re gonna let
You know that the wheel goal like um that happened before so Alexander Christos found himself in second position so when Connor Swift swings over he’s got nowhere to go and he’s that’s why he’s looking around now nobody wants to take it up just yet because it’s 300 meters to go
Good work as well uh there is uh parasini just uh lighting it up to try and become part of proceedings I got a good finish but um and indeed um Tobias Lund also was fast finishing in the blue jersey and we’ll see how it settled itself down
Viviani did get up as well so viviani was was coming past Ethan heater there for a further place in the bonuses and um he had the presence of mind to um dab the brakes just dab the brakes and let you know take that take that time
But then he was from from you know from being in total control there were inside that last 500 meters found themselves boxed in just them ever so slightly all wrestling the bikes but uh in the end comes in on the barriers and unlike yesterday where he was so
Close but just ran out of reserves on the climb he had enough to hold Chris off in a bands and uh it was hater that come through he had to double check with viviani did I get that did I I think you did yeah
I think if he only saw he was going to pass Peter and they understood that for GC that Ethan had to take those seconds yeah the big loser there is Alex and the Kristoff because from being on the front at 300 meters to go he needed to be out of the wind and
He settled back behind alua can’t do that it’s gonna be really really difficult to come around them again finishing in 10th Place aola it’s always the day I don’t back him that he goes well there he is you should have stick with your first love I should have done half
A bike he took it by and not only that he takes the lead because the 10 bonus seconds that he gets he was only training magnet Sheffield by one and uh indeed he’s gonna have a reasonably handsome lead in this race going into the final day tomorrow and he’s capable
Of holding on to the Jersey champion of Venezuela Superstar performer 26 years of age and has really found his feet in this latter part of the Season both at La Welter and here and he takes this day out of Christoph hater viviani that’s Tobias London Anderson Leonardi Stewart finishing in seventh
Place out of Tim Tom tootenberg murati and barazini a lot of Italians here um but uh yes it’s a Venezuelan who has done a job on everybody and now leads this race I’m proud of him he has just been brilliant this is uh points as well he’s getting
Greedy we’re gonna take all that all the money for the prizes what a fines so our law leads the points classification out we’re going to get the general classification for you um and Rapid is the new king of the mountains uh Jersey wearer and tomorrow with no categorized climbs
That’s gonna belong to him yeah and um you know circuit race looks strong enough to to kind of control that they have and they lead by nine seconds leads nine seconds ahead of ethanator Michael Sheffield given the same time but lucky bonuses means that he is also a nine second margin Alexander
