If you’re planning to visit Paris, you need to take a day trip to the amazing Château de Chambord!
This chateau is in the beautiful Loire Valley, a region just west of Paris. The region has many castles to explore, and this is the grandfather of them all.
We visited this castle as part of a weeklong trip in Loire Valley, but it can easily be visited via a tour, day drive, or train + shuttle/bus from Paris!
The castle is a museum inside, and has large grounds you can walk around or cycle to your heart’s content.
Definitely add this to your France travel bucket list!
