Hey good morning uh taking a break on this morning’s ride you know it’s really easy to get into europe it’s easy to get around in europe what is not so easy is when you go way eastern europe and start entering like russian territories i mentioned that because one of the countries we’re
Trying to get into is the country of belarus belarus is east of poland north of ukraine and west of of russia and apparently it’s run by a dictator and they are stringent like you can’t even get in without certain criteria being met so my buddy hal decided to look into it
I asked him actually and he that great guy that he is looked into it and gave me kind of a crazy story he said that that there was it’s run by a dictator there’s a journalist who has been riding against him and he was on a flight that was going
Not in belarus at all but it was going from greece up across into lithuania but it was going through belarus airspace well belarus looked at the roster of passengers found out he was on it they militarily forced that plane down ripped the guy out who knows what they did with him
And then let the plane go on So so that’s the country we’re trying to get into and there are complications as well because the language i mean every everything that we read is very complicated the english translation isn’t great and the the information is not consistent plus get this there are very few places
That a bicycle can actually just wheel across otherwise you got to take a train you got to get throw it in some guy’s pickup and get across so that’s what we’re looking at it’ll be interesting see how it goes
