@Dean_Trips rides his bike in Germany on the Sunday before the end of Fasching as it’s known in Germany. The Carnival festivities are big in Mainz but can also be celebrated in many other places. Dean starts his ride in Wiesbaden and sees the start of the parade there before riding down to and across the Rhine River then up to Finthen, which is close to Mainz. The bulk of this video shows the parade in Finthen. Dean then checks out the center of Mainz to see the festivities there before riding to Frankfurt. Dean follows the Main River path and navigates through some slightly flooded areas before reaching Frankfurt in the late afternoon. By this time the parade has ended and Dean looks at the aftermath before riding to the hotel in Frankfurt.
