Hi everyone

I’ve been having issues with my raleigh lizard bike where the pedal has fallen off due to the bottom bracket being rounded off where the securing nut sits. This is a long time coming and is due to a lot of patch jobs to be able to use the bike. My own fault entirely.

I’ve removed the entire bottom bracket from the bike, but it appears that it’s brought the cranks along with it, and I want to separate them if possible as I cant seem to find a full crank and bracket set, and ideally would just like to replace the bracket/axle itself.

I’m not very well versed with bikes other than ,,push pedals and go fast”, but this is my means of transportation to work and I’d like to give it a try fixing myself. I’ve already been to a bike shop and they have said they don’t stock these parts due to the age of the bike

Can I separate these and buy the axle separately, or would I be better off replacing the cranks and bottom bracket in its entirety?

Thank you in advance!
