Hi all, I’ve just upgraded my road bike to one with hydro discs. However, the bars are quite narrow and I want to put on widerones with a bit of rise to take pressure off my back. I’m looking at something like Specialized Hover Bars.
Anyway I’ve changed bars many times, but wondering with the hydraulics how that will work? Will I need to find a bar specific to hydraulics with internal routing? Or can I wrap the hoses the same way I would’ve done cantilever brakes? The current one seems to be wrapped as usual…
I assume if I do find integrated routing on my bars I’ll need to disconnect the hoses etc.
If anyone has recommendations on bars with some rise and integrated routing I’d love to hear it. I’m looking for comfort over aero…
