First race of the series for group A Knutsford V Rochdale. Rochdale had drafted in about 38 riders to form 7 separate teams within the race and Knutsford put forward a decent 15 – not always easy to see, but total finishers shows up as 53 – a huge effort all round and well done to all taking part.
Rochdale managed to bag the 3 top spots, followed by a rider who stcuk to the front with the lead pack from the off, then the following riders in the top 10 were all Rochdale too. A great start to the winter races!
