He who departs from Evil makes himself a prey then the Lord saw it and it displeased him that there was no justice he saw that there was no man and wonder that there was no intercessor therefore his arm brought salvation for him and his own righteousness it sustained him
For he put on righteousness as a breastplate and a helmet of salvation on his head he put on the garments of Vengeance for clothing and was clad with Zeal as a cloak you may be seated my assignment this morning is to speak about a particular facet of Jesus
Christ and that is that Jesus Christ he is the strong arm of God the power and authority of a kingdom rests in the king’s right hand and the King’s and the strength of a kingdom is in the king’s right arm historically the king would lead his armies into battle
His shield would be attached to his left arm and the the sword would be wielded with his right so if you serve served under the strongest King you were a part of the strongest Kingdom it was therefore understood that when the prophet Ezekiel wrote therefore thus
Says the Lord God surely I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt and I will break his arms both the strong one and the one that was broken and I will make the sword fall out of his hand it was understood that that time that to break Pharaoh’s arms is to take his kingdom
From him for a strong Kingdom must have a strong King when we serve the Lord Jesus Christ we serve the strongest King when we belong when we serve the Lord Jesus Christ we belong to the strongest Kingdom not only in power but also in duration Isaiah wrote of the
Increase of his government in peace there shall be no end and when we serve the Lord Jesus Christ no man no one can pluck us or pluck you as you and me all of us out of his hand for Jesus said no man is able to pluck them out of my father’s
Hand when we abide in Christ we’re safe we’re covered and when you follow Christ you can’t lose the victory is guaranteed for the faithful who is the king of glory The Lord strong and mighty I thank God Almighty the king of glory we have a strong King today in Jesus Christ not only in our Lord not only is our Lord and God a strong King Jesus once said all power is given unto me in heaven and
In Earth the all powerful omnipotent God of Glory he reached out from Heaven reached down in a sense by way of Jesus Christ Christ marched up to the cross of Calvary laid down his life raised it back up ascended into heaven to stand in the holy of holies on on high to make
Atonement for us he stood in the Gap he made a way for us to be reconciled back to God and the Bible says that he is at the right hand of God he is is in the position of power in the position of authority so I can stand here in conf
Confidence that I am in Christ I Stand under the strongest King I am a citizen of the strongest Kingdom so I should not be afraid of the kingdoms of this world Hallelujah and we see that the entire work of Jesus Christ is the arm of God reaching out to us to

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in my house and prove me now herewith sayeth the Lord of hosts that I will not pour out to you in the windows of Heaven excuse me I will not open to you the windows of heaven and pour out a
Blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it amen the reason why I say that is because this week earlier I got a I got a testimony from a colleague a work colleague you know of mine as we were going over some some year-end numbers
Right and uh the testimony says this it says let me omit uh the name but it says my wife and I have decided to significantly increase our tithing above the 10% as we normally do and promised in Malachi that’s why I wanted to read it to you so this is somebody that is
Sending me a text it says as promised in Malachi it says almost immediately after we made that commitment God has been so faithful and significantly increased the value of our investments and assets Hallelujah so immediately so one of the things that we have to understand that the Lord rewards our faithfulness and
Our commitment hallelujah it’s not that you have to do it but you have to do with in your heart be willing to do it be willing to sacrifice so as we said or as I taught in the financial fundamentals course on stship and tithing even when you’re at this he said
He was already at the 10% but he made a commitment that he wanted to bless the house of God in his ministry even more so above the 10% and Look What the Lord did to him so we want to make sure that we’re at every level that we’re at we’re
Being faithful and we’re committing that we’re going to make the sacrifices of our substance you know to honor the house of God in this ministry Hallelujah that we’re here that we’re going to do right by what you’re intreating and investing into us that we can make sure that we promote and propagate the
Kingdom of God so wherever you’re at if you’re not at 10% make a commitment to do wherever you’re at 5% 8% 9% if you’re at 10% let’s do more Hallelujah let’s do increasingly and abundantly more Hallelujah than what we can ever ask or think if you’re at you know where you’re
Just making it and you’re struggling Hallelujah well the Bible said that it’ll open up the windows of Heaven if you make that commitment so just make the commitment if it’s $50 $1100 you know $200 a week make that commitment be faithful and watch the Lord show up in your life Hallelujah financially

Hall and it’s from 2:30 p.m. until because you know how we get down when football happens um Friday 23rd is a men’s prayer service that is at 700 p.m. that is Elder Chris Graham is our guest speaker and dinner will be served so that is for the men only so women sorry
Um men only and then March Monday 25th is Brothers United Clippers game 700 p.m. tickets are $50 per person 40 tickets available that was a lot of announcements from the men but we’ll continue to tell them but God bless you for now praise the Lord everybody the Lord I

Our auxiliary fair so um the leaders of the auxiliaries are setting up in the Gaither Hall and so if you are eager to learn about what we’re doing as far as the auxiliaries and you want to be a part of an auxiliary you are able to go

Bombarded and baptized with all kind of negativism so one reason why I look at the news but I try to look at the last part of the news cuz the first part is always bad but I watch it just to stay informed but however I cannot allow what is
Happening around me to dictate the hope that’s on the inside when I come to the sanctuary the house of the Lord it is my duty to lift up my hands and to worship for when you participate in what you’re supposed to do which is to worship and to praise the
Very God who called you it is your responsibility to Echo his goodness and his greatness back to him not only do you do it with your physical being but you do it with your mouth you do it amen with your heart you let your body Echo
The glory of the Lord because he’s been gracious to us amen and so we have to allow ourselves to allow the word of God to marinate in in our heart most of you cook am I correct raise your hands if you cook so y’all know the word marinate what’s the difference between

For you he said I wouldn’t lie to you but I want you to understand that as I preached to you last week the promises of God are yes and amen man whatever he has said you can rest assured that it shall come to pass you
Can put your foot on it you can relax because he doesn’t renig on his promises like we do he doesn’t say one thing and then do something else he doesn’t say one thing and then act like he is forgotten if he makes a promise to us it’s got to come to
Pass and so the promise of his return is what I want to zero in on today but not only the promise of his return but I want to use this thought being how he is and being where he is stay with me being how he is and being where he is

Coming there are eight verses that mention his second this is not a doctrine that you want to fall asleep on this is not a thought that you want to be that you want to put on the back burner because the doctrine of the return of the Lord Jesus
