I’m looking for a second bike. My first is a brand new steel touring bike (all-city) with drop bars. My goal is this to be my primary daily driver, but the reality is that I may find an adventure mixte or stepthrough a good option for some days/as I gain road skills. It was love at first sight. As a middle aged 5’2 female new commuter, I’m looking for a 2nd team/ something that is peppy/easy to ride/and would allow for work clothes in a pinch. So, I’m looking for a step through bike for my 8 mile round tripcommute/errands. Is a small 2024 Marin Larkspur 1 ([https://www.marinbikes.com/bikes/2024-larkspur-1](https://www.marinbikes.com/bikes/2024-larkspur-1)) sufficient if it is my 2nd bike? the Larkspur 2 (the deore option/drop seat? [https://www.marinbikes.com/bikes/2024-larkspur-2](https://www.marinbikes.com/bikes/2024-larkspur-2)). If I am spending over $600, my thought would be I would like something that there was some chance of getting $300 to $400 if I decide to sale in the next year or so. Is there anything else you would suggest in the $500 to $1000 range that would fit these needs? I would be happy to spend lessPriority. Polygon. Non-steel Marin. Fine with a bikesonline or jensen or other place option. Thanks for the help! There is about 1 hill. 10% chance of rain in about 3 to 4 months a year. 92% roads.
