I have just installed some cheap 30T chain gear and cranks from Amazon (bucklos 104 bcd single speed crankset) into my Mongoose Solus. The spindle seems to stick out more on the drive side. Cranks seem to be fully seated. I didn’t notice anything wrong when the factory parts were installed. It was originally a 1x.
