Hi and welcome to motorcycles UK today I’d like to show a short video about this very unusual kev’s Moto Yamaha sr400 Scrambler here we have a Yamaha sr400 this is a 2014 bike on a 14 plate with just 1,868 mil now this isn’t any old sr400 this is in fact a kev’s Speed
Shop Scrambler custom uh and is a fantastically good looking motorcycle uh really really well done this is superb job uh so as you’ve already probably noticed you’ve got that blue frame swing arm and wheel the rear wheel CU we haven’t looked at the front yet that’s
The same color uh you’ve even got the spokes done there as well it’s such a good job it’s really lovely looking thing this custom shocks there as well and the rear tire is that Scrambler style tire and of course that’s got loads of life left didn’t it you’ve got
That uh mudguard Eliminator a very short stubby Scrambler style mud guard there as well even got a black and silver plate display plate of course uh the rear light just mounted on top of the mud guard there in that classic Scrambler style got a brown quilted seat as well which obviously matches the
Styling of the rest of the bike the paintwork itself on the petol tank and the side panels is actually the standard Yamaha paint bike was built by keville Speed Shop down in painton in Devon uh they do a fantastic job of these bikes I have to
Say we’ve had a c had one of these bikes not one of these Sr 400s but one of their bikes before and it’s a lovely looking thing a real talking point uh no real corrosion to speak of on the bike there’s a little bit of paint s of on
The top of the uh engine there but uh you know that’s a bit of patina really on a bite like this you’d expect it to have a little bit of uh character uh Kickstart only of course and I’ll start it for you later you can all have a
Laugh at that because uh don’t Kickstart many bikes these days uh but actually it’s very easy to start once you get The Knack the barend mirror there and the brown grip again also you know very much of that Scrambler style and the lever there’s no marks or damage there at all
Front forks they in great condition as well there’s no corrosion on it anywhere at all as you can see and the front wheel again done in that lovely blue with the fork the spokes being done as well no rips or tears in the Gators and you’ve got that high
Level Scrambler style mud guard and the front tire of course loads of life left on that one we’ve just under 2,000 Mi on the bike the left hand side of the bike that’s in fantastic condition as well again the barend mirror and the brown grip and the lever there also and the
Front fork again in great condition and that front wheel no signs of any damage there at all engine C is blue as well um which really does stand this bike out I have to say we engine on this side in excellent condition no damage on it anywhere at all of course paint work
There all excellent as I said that’s the standard Yamaha color when it came out of the factory as an sr400 A2 compliant of course as well this bike and uh the chain sprockets there all in excellent condition and that left hand side of the swing arm and
The rear wheel all in really good order no rips or tears in the seat that’s I mentioned the bike is A2 compliant of course but uh it’s probably not your everyday ride it’s more of one to put somewhere if you’ve got some nice to store something and look at it maybe
Get it out once a year for the distinguished gentleman’s ride if you live uh near London you may frequent the bike shed up in sh ditch and I’m sure that would fit in very well with their style so if you are looking for something very very different you like
