Lane and we’re going to go into this fortified Village how cool is that we’ve been in a 45 Village before no nether have I we continued our walk up into the town and ended up in the cantino cafe which is really nice owned by a young couple and their mom and dad
Live next door they sell really good craft beers and siders and we set outside on the Fantastic Vera which overlooks to the mountains and we sat there for about 2 hours watching the sun go down the sunset from here was absolutely stunning the food was really nice the drinks were really nice the
People were really nice all the jams and uh cakes were made inhouse by the lady’s mother so these jams you can see here uh the sausages were absolutely superb and then at the end of the evening that little box to say thank you for coming uh we had some grapes some pomegranates
A handful of walnuts and a delicious slice of pear and walnut cake made by the owner’s mother so really recommend this place really really nice food after a fantastic sleep we decided to go for another walk around this wonderful Village stunning if you come to Castile de Rodriguez you can even charge up your electric bikes I’m up lock them to this thing here where you got all the tools you got a pump and screwdrivers and everything and then you park your bike in there and hose it down with the water
How nice is that water fountain for drinking what a fantastic facility looks like Susan’s going to buy a fridge Magnet what a lovely shop yeah and these are almonds that we obvious been offered and accepted that are grown in the region not you’re not I am you are I might get a hat see these hats up here it’s your first time here first time here it won’t be the last it’s such
A nice place good so tell me about the almonds so we here we have all selection uhuh uh we have the majority they are almonds and we can start here from here to there they are €350 is the sweet almond cover with dark chocolate white chocolate The Salted Caramel Bitter
Sweet also sweet salty with sesame seeds uh sweet almonds with ginger the the traditional sugar almond sweet almond with Anis coffee and coconut we have also some glutenfree uh biscuits and we have a huge selection of gems and Liquors almond butter Olive paste on this uh on this

Castillo de Rodrigo it’s crazy that they drive vehicles at these streets this is the castle wow so we’ve walked inside the Castle cost us a Euro each which I think is a bit of a Bargain and the view from the castle is Spectacular so that is uh East so that must be Spain over there so we’re standing on the wall at the side of the castle and this wall you can see goes all the way around the Village I like it So you can only live here in this Village if you’re 4’7 This house here you’ve got to be really short but you’ve got to have long legs to get up the Step Right the van’s done it’s taking us half an hour to fill up with water from there because the water trickles out but we’re full of water and we’re off now to Garda G not late G but Garder stress out or what Susan can’t read maps can’t listen to instructions
