This bike is for sale local to me; it’s my size, fits my budget and I really quite like it overall. Judging the quality and condition of individual components is a huge deal when buying a used bike, and I have enough knowledge to adequately do that for the most part, but I know very little about suspension forks in general, and even less about Leftys!
So I turn to you – there’s bound to be some bonafide experts on the subject on here. Can you tell from the pictures what specific model this Lefty is? Anything I should look out for? How can I tell that the internals are still good and not in need of a major, expensive overhaul? Is buying an old, used Lefty a viable idea at all or is it best to stay away?
