Part 6 of 6: Romania & Bulgaria (July 18-28, 2013)
I joined 12 other bicycle riders on the ExperiencePlus! EuroVelo 6 Expedition from Saint Brevin-les-Pins on the west coast of France traveling through 10-countries before completing the journey at the Black Sea in Romania 45-days and 2600-miles later. We mostly paralleled the Loire and Danube Rivers as we crossed Europe.

It a shame that the Euro-Velo 6 traverses some of the ugliest parts of Romania. I understand that it (more or less) follows the Danube, but it should've gone through the Carpathian mountains. That's a beautiful area to see.
Nice touch of Romanian music too 😉 Thanks for sharing
I enjoyed this last part of EV6 through Romania very much and yes, have met wonderful warm people all the way. As I traveled by Unicycle, the flat profile along the Danube was perfect. Will come back to visit the mountains.

Here is a cyclotourism survey, which cyclists are protagonists and the experimental project involves part of Eurovelo6 route. I'm a student and I need the completion of the survey for academic purposes.
