L Cycle Center cheers so without further Ado let’s see how it rides crack on are you ready Matt right let’s go drop into the downhill Pete’s downhill Scott Patron see how she runs oh she feels Lov SM slide in the oh big gap jump wooo the next Gap hey Beautiful oh this is nice Woohoo Oh Big T coming up comes clear woohoo one to two I’m finish Yeah that’s Good so unfortunately the day cut cut a little bit Shar due to a mechanical on the other bike and the terrible rain so we just decided to call it quits before anything else went wrong let me just tell you a bit about this Scott Patron so it’s 160 travel front and rear
Running on Fox suspension it’s got the BOS Gen 4 motor tilted right up at a funny angle so that the battery can come all the way down here which puts the weight nice and low which helps with handling the shock is hidden internally in here which is pretty
Cool gives it that awesome really clean look a lot of people say it’s a funny looking bike I think it looks really cool so it’s 29 front and rear it’s got a 750 W battery so it’s got a lot of range on it and it’s running the new Bosch smart
System which I haven’t had a lot to do with gives you all sorts of different readouts um but none of that I really care about as long as it’s turned on I’m happy but yeah it’s tunable you can plug it into the app on your phone and mess around with it it
Has got the lockout system like it has on most Scots so you got three settings you got fully open then you’ve got what they call traction control and then fully locked out so traction control is pretty cool on this so what it does it reduces the
Travel on the rear shock so when you’re climbing you don’t bottom out as much so you don’t get as many pedal strikes which I do get a lot of pedal strikes on my bike cuz it’s just set fully enoro so when I’m pedaling and climbing I do tend
To hit a lot of routes and what have you but this um yeah sorts that problem out I didn’t get much much time to ride it but what I did get to ride of it super impressed so impressed I mean this is a trail bike maybe a hard trail bike but
It flew down the downhill trap with no issues whatsoever that suspension system on there is soft plush beautiful I so noticed the difference from that to my bik which runs Rock shocks and this is Fox my previous giant run Fox but I couldn’t tell any difference
Between that and the ebike it all just felt good but this feels really good this fox system on this works really well with the extra weight so all in all my impressions of the Scott Patron Eide it’s a lot better than I expected it to be it’s it’s actually a great
