Headed upto farmer John’s this morning, little bit nervous as it was my first time ridding clipped in.
I bought crank brothers Mallet DH, Went well no incidents in getting my feet free when I wanted or needed to, most noticeable effect was how I felt so much more comfortable compared to flats because on flats I felt like I was always trying to micro adjust my feet to get a perfect positioning and 90% of the time not able to get it. The mallets and my cleat positioning just felt right every time I clipped in, very positive first outing
