I am planning to build an all-arounder bike (mostly road and long distance riding) from brother kepler frame. However, I am uncertain should I buy 56 or 58 sized frame. My height is 186cm with 85cm inseam.
The attached picture is my current commuter bike (specialized single cross, perhaps 2009). I guess it can give some reference, since some measures seem quite similar to brother kepler. Here are the measures I took from the bike (self-measured so not totally accurate, as i couldn’t find the geometry details):
BB-seattube ct = 58cm
Toptube cc = 56cm
Reach = 39cm
Stack = 59cm
BB – top of the saddle = 73cm
Nose of the saddle – centre of the handlebar = 49cm
Saddle – handlebar drop = 3cm
Stem length= 7cm
The current bike feeld comfortable, but I am thinking should I go a frame size down, particularly given the rather short stem and the fact that there isn’t much seatpost exposed.
