We’ll keep you up to date with all of those permutations as we go on through the night in the meanwhile look at our lineup in full and a quick reminder of what’s ahead of us two runs per Rider round number one about to get underway that’s going to comprise five sections

In 5 minutes and then the difficulty level will be ramped up in round two two of the sections will be repeated in that second round the other three will be new directions but they’ll only have four minutes available for those five sections in round two total score over

The 10 qualifying sections and over therefore 9 minutes on the Arena floor we decide our three lowest scorers on the combined standings they’ll move on to the Grand Final to settle those Podium places first Rider out into the section then will be sandre hagger the only Rider in tonight’s lineup who

For him further on just making his way through the vast there Midway through the opener efficient work so far for sandre Hager but curer the commentator and down he goes and that was an unforced error you’d have to say from Hager the first step was much tougher

And just as he tried to position himself he landed on the sump and slipped backwards so a first five in the opening section and he’ll be frustrated about that because he safely negotiated that opening step in some style as well Hager who was recently out in action in the Spanish Championship ninth

And last of the permanent Raiders in the Spanish Championship fourth overall this season with two victories in trial two back indoors last weekend in PO with the international trial there and a good warm up for tonight big opening step to section two as well and down for another

Failure it’s a maximum 10 Mark score from the two sections thus far for sandre Hager section two opener if anything even more difficult because of that curved painted surface snippery enough to stop him from finding enough purchase to climb up to the top so it’s two 10 Mark scores in a row

Then or two it’s two five Mark scores that give a 10 Mark score overall for sandre Hager section three next up this one looks little bit lower in terms of difficulty level a technical challenge more than anything and unfortunately technical challenge too great for SRE hagger early on there three consecutive

Fiascos for hagger not the return that he was planning to the ex trial World Championship eight placey finished at this event exra Madrid last season so had a couple of top six finishes that have established him at this level Norwegian at World Championship level SRE hagger 24 years of

Age uniquely placed to claim a spot in the field of course as the lone Norwegian similar step here to what we saw in section one wooden crates this time as as opposed to U wooden pallets as it were first step achieved then in section number four single Mark drop for leaning there for

Of his opportunity to prove himself here penultimate round of the campaign thus far he hasn’t made it through any of the sections one section couple of narrow Ledges to work his way through here one minute to go that’s the average time really for each of the sections in

Round number one time will gradually become more of a factor as the night goes on four minutes for the five sections in round two and then one minute per section in the ground final goes Andre hagger he does it without dropping a mark for leaning on say there teed momentarily this time

One first section we’ve seen completed tonight and it’s with a clean section two then even more difficult First Step this one curved surface grara is up oh tried to keep the throttle open to force himself to the top of the section ultimately up there and he does slide

Off the side and down to a five looked to be in some discomfort when he hit the ground as well to shake that one off but still wincing in discomfort mat grola just over one minute gone on the clock in round number one section three coming up

Here five marks on the board Mato grola 25 marks remember was the score for SRE hagger first time out nice little leap and a there from Mato grola section three underway Italian Ryder with an Italian manufacturer now that he’s back with B up his early season spell with vertigo

Didn’t really work out for either party white riding well tonight though so far is he going to avoid taking a mark there just trying to use all of the space on that very narrow ledge before he can press on to mod still to make it through good work on the back wheel

There still avoiding the use of the sum really elegant riding from the grola as I said technical challenge this one no outright massive steps to make it through one step still to come then at the end of section number three two and a half minutes on the

Clock the only real big step of this section thankfully for grola Bank some time completing section one nice and early left himself a lot of time here just one Mark fing grola throwing in section three brilliant ride from him as well when he landed it on the stamp earlier

On in the season you would have said he’s going to fall back to a five but not so this time force of will upper body strength grattarola makes it through section three in now to section four don’t make any mistakes from here mat at times he’s been inconsistent at times he’s been

Wild in 2023 you’d have to say in ex trial he’s put in a good ride in section one perfectly through there that was very impressive in section three used a lot of time so he has got a move on early on in section four this the main step of this

Fourth seum where SRE Hager Failed he goes again lands it on the sub but again makes it up to the top that’ll be a mark for leaning ratola riding really well tonight 1 minute 10 still on the clock up the ramp and through to the finish another section completed successfully grola wouldn’t it be good

To see him challenge for the podium places tonight and upset the apple card he showed no signs whatsoever of getting anywhere near the rrom places in 2020 3 thus far I wondered whether there might have been one drop for leaning there but it hasn’t been given so grola presses on

Still clean after the first step and Descent of section five this narrow ledge you can see how much it’s moving as well when the front tire touched it the assistant trying his best to hold it in place 25 seconds to go again moving so much that down goes mat grola

He’s not going to be the only one to struggle with that as supect we saw hagger fail there previously ratola with less than 20 seconds on the clock goes down but a 12 Mark first run from grola get successfully through sections 1 three and four and avoids unforced errors in those

France for the international indoor Cup in his homeland in January of next year he’s just back from po so plenty of bike time on indoor sections for bnab Bing and of course we’re waiting on news of the 2024 extra World Championship calendar comfortably France’s top performer pin the 2023 French Champion

So you’d expect him to feature then as well 12 marks the target set by Mato grola Rob inas representing shko fir straight up to the top of that first a only sandre Hager showing any strain or signs of difficulty with the uh opening leap be fair to him coming in

Relatively from the cold obviously his first exra back after the summer break and as I was saying when I’ve been C has had a little bit of competition obviously competed in Andor as well a good effect particularly on the uh in the first round of that night a Podium

Contender tailed off for him later on benoir baz finishing the night fifth at exra Andor leas since seventh overall really strong ride though in section one matches Mato grola through there now has an opportunity to move ahead of him section two failed by both SRE Hager and M grara thus

Far this is why slippery surface C Fires himself up balances himself at the top very nicely Precision landing on that jump that’s where Mato grola didn’t quite get as high as he wanted use the throttle to push himself forward and then went out of the side of

The section no such problems for bnov in C now he’s opening new ground nobody’s made it this far in section number two concentration on his face as well slides down and that’s a shame for B after making it past the opening step he comes to G just a couple of modules later

On target now is to become first Rider clean in section three will give him an advantage over Mato grola because thus far there’s been nothing to split them in sections one and two protection three long one this one and already B hitting some trouble definitely a mark for the

Left foot going down I wonder whether there might be a mark for leaning in there as well we’ll wait to see from Jordi Sanchez continuing on already a scrappier start than mat grola still the big step at the end to come was indeed two marks given as I

Suspected for the sump going down is there going to be one there good work to keep himself up but three marks now for bobing C any further drop marks will be a failure in section three that really would give Mato grat a bit of an edge

Over the Frenchman and there it is lands on the sun it’s game over in section three for bu pen marks now from three sections so only two to play with against mat grola finished his first run on 12 has already on 10 big first step to section

Four CA Managed IT okay just a single Mark over the course of the whole section bigger step to come after this one easy enough there for being cat nice little boxes to uh create a staircase to the top of this section Now The Descent C too clear of Mato

Grola there’s the main Hazard still to come you can see the the rubber marks already from the first tires to and Propel themselves up in C will be no exception back to the edge as you can see another of these Blocks made up of wooden beams very similar to The Wooden beams

Used for those blocks in section one this though is section four and B CES down been cast down to failure in section four moves on to 15 marks and behind Mato grola so grola leads 12 marks his run score baz is on 15 still has a section to go will finish

Ahead of SRE Hager of course who failed every section but b c so far has only made it through section one unconvincing display for the Frenchman not at all like his round one performance last time out in Andor laa now we’ll see if he can make it through this narrow

Ledge all of the riders or both of the Riders I should say have struggled thus far a lot of movements on this next module again assistant holding it in place up goes baz looks to me like he’s judged it right now how about the exit of the section 18 seconds to

Gos down siis step still to come and only 10 seconds in which to do it he’s going to have to rush here plenty of gas and hope for the best I think up he goes lands it on the sump for a single Mark 3 seconds to go makes his way towards the

19 each Rider’s lowest score to be deducted Martin will have three to be removed which is the gap between those two Riders earlier on that effectively join fifth is anel jel takes a mark for leaning there on the first step that’s something of a surprise because grola and Big C both

Clean this section before him one mark on the board then for Annie old jel makes the landing successfully would have been happy to drop that Mark when you’re in contention for the podium places you’ve really got to keep those minor errors to a minimum safety mark and it was what jell

Beir needed to get through section one one mark on the bo hope for better in section two to recover now against grola and baz who he Trails by single Mark after that opening section nobody has yet made it through here baz did get through this first big

Wheel then fell at the uh the next Step up then goes anniel gel in section two replicating the efforts of noing has before him from the top of the section now it’s get about getting the rest of it right from a technical perspective anel gel still to come with this big upright Cinder but bit of a ramp to try and

Use and through he goes and a half minutes still to go then for anel geler the first Rider to make it successfully through section two strong ride from him brings himself very much back into Podium contention one mark from only two sections SE three next up completed only

By Mato grola out of the three Riders who’ve been so far what can an old jell bear do some nice work on the back tire early in this section real confidence once again from the bitter Factory man 23y olds a little bit unsettled there and down he

Goes was trying to make the turn in midair foot went down wonder whether he was taking risks there just to avoid the drop marks for footing but either way comes down and it’s a first Fiasco of the run for anniel jeler six marks now from three two sections still to go that

Certainly interrupted his flow good start to the run with just a single mark from the first two sections six marks up now ahead of Mato grola for the provisional leadership course five Riders still to go and indeed the second round before we decide our grand finalists but J with

Some nice work there again front tire goes up so high has to bring it back down then to make the bridge to the next step that’s an error from jelar slipped back unexpectedly Mark for leaning Mark for footing I would say then we’ll wait for official confirmation

See how low the tire pressures are there as jel moves himself into position for The Descent now the main step main challenge of section four Mato grola the only man of the three to tackle it so far who’s made it successfully through this is an old jal’s turn minute 40 on the

Clock six marks from three mat grat was on the same at the same stage goes jel there into Mark for leaning leaves him on three very precarious any further drop marks will be a failure or anniel jelar a minute 20 now I’m ticking away but jelar is through only just in

Section four J is the second of our four Riders tonight have made it through section four successfully effectively Trails Mato grola by two going into the final section but if he gets through it very least be level with the Italian section five then completed successfully by B up inaz narrow ledge

Later in the section that you would have to say is the main challenge in no showed no great difficulty though ratola might be frustrated about that because on paper it looks like a question of precision rather than have right power nice and precise there but not so

Much on the Landing the other side one mark for leaning less than 30 seconds to go but he’s good on time you’d have to say position himself to make maximum use of that ledge and he’s cre anel jel with a strong ride in section five moves

B jel walked away from here with a single Mar’s name let’s see what can do wants to be a Podium Contender probably targeting a single digit score here if he can make it through without failing any section just one failure for anel jelar last time out it was a strong

Run just that one mistake in section three that he might come to a couple of drop marks that might have been a little bit unnecessary in section four as well for jel be Toby Martin doesn’t leap across the crevice he prefers to ride down the side of the

Section now makes the ramp across like M judgment to the single drop Mark for leaning but 30 seconds to complete section one with just one Mark to his name so he won’t add his name to the list of C in that first section grola and Big C going before him now to

Martins on section two bailed by SRE hacker Mato grola and B has it was the point of difference for annel jel the only Rider who’s been able to get through it and he also did so clean Toby Marti up to the top of the section so far so good Brit in exra Madrid

Tonight within the championship defending it against jar and baz who both put in decent first runs baz would have been a little bit frustrated with the middle of his his opening round performance Toby Martin taking his time here he has plenty on it very efficient work there Swift and

He’s through to the end of St number two his time early on but once he had himself in a straight line he fired his way through we’ve all seen on Instagram haven’t we that he’s not afraid of pointing squirt an astonishing finish to one of those open

Sections big heavy Landing for him as well but Toby Martin showing no effects of that move in towards section number three now bit short on the landing so takes a mark for leaning Hager baz jel all failed this section the turn catching out jel that’s where Martin’s coming up

To now gratella made it through section three with a single drop mark Mar a little bit off centeres to catch it next week his assistant that’s always barking out the orders Martin riding well little bit of precision needed now marked his name teetering from one side to the other tries to make the

Turn you feel that these Riders are moments away from disaster in this very technical section three and Martin almost proving it there teetering over to the right hand side before he catches his balance two minutes to go Al can feel urging his man on one step to

Go this is the biggest step of the section the most difficult technical challenges already under his belt up goes Martin single Mark in section three brilliant start to this run for Toby Martin two marks from three sections he’s delighted with that but there’s still more work to

The turn get that right and you through Toby Martin with an outstanding round one performance punches the air with delight and quite right two receives the congratulations of takisa fujinami 10 seconds to spare Martin the first man to get through all five of the sections in round one tonight just three marks to

His name leads annel jel by seven brilliant start to the evening for Great Britain’s Toby Martin three marks to Martin then who leads the way aniel jelar on 10 in second but robing C 16 in third mat sorry mat grola 12 for third Bing C 16

In fourth SRE Hager at the back of the pack on 25 well Martin’s effort there superb but four top man still to come to try and unseat him this is Adam rager it’s Focus will be on his head-to-head with Gabriel Mar in the battle for bronze this season they have

Been pretty evenly matched you’d say throughout the summer in uh trial GP it was Mar who came out on top there after injury for Adam rager rager though got his revenge with second place in the Spanish Championship the Spanish Championship reaching its conclusion two weeks ago Focus back now on the EXT trial

World Championship Adam rager negotiating section one miserable miserable night for him in Andor Leva last time out want to end his spell with TRS on a high rager through successfully in section one per startling needed only 30 seconds to get through M Clean that gives him an early

Advantage over Toby Martin of course he he wants to beat Martin in this round one he cannot afford any failures Martin was clean in sections two and five just an OD dab in 1 three and four section two Adam rager 4 minutes little bit short on that first

Step does manage to urge the bik forward only narrowly avoids the sump on the landing as well clean thus far to section number one nobody thing clean after the opening two sections though that’s really elegant work from Adam Raa didn’t treat it as a turn or

Chicane in the course there did he he just back TI it all the way through rager through in section two first Rider with back to back CLE already had a marked his name this stage section three next up Adam rager top individual performer at the PO indoor trial in France last

Weekend six marks to seven over jerone for hard and what was the final there and well it was a peer competition and his Duo finished second but it was nice to see rager top performer again been a challenging campaign for him two injuries playing their part as

Well that is one of the risks at the veteran stage of his career now 41 years of age turn 42 Midway through next season do plan to continue on competing despite being released by TRS Adam rager momentarily dropped backwards there I thought he was close to the sum

Order Martin who had rager for arrival earlier on in the campaign at set exra Bordeaux will lead Raga after round number one in Madrid this evening Adam rager moves on to five marks Toby Martin is your leader that’s going to be another Mark for Adam rager two in

Fact and down he goes to a five what happened there for Adam rager very bizarre because I thought he still had a chance in that section but uh obviously want to waste any more time than was necessary because he was already in trouble taking a mar for leaning it was

Scrappy on his way to the top he didn’t get to the top did he he took the block at the side because uh he then jumped off the side of that so one section to go rag has now level on 10 marks with anniel jelar underlining just

How good that performance was from Toby Martin and rager is out again rager out again shakes his head in frustration and after the disaster that was ex trial Andora Lea a month ago it looks like nothing’s improved tonight for Alam rager three consecutive fiascos 15 marks the score drops behind

Both Toby Martin and anel jel as well as Mato grola four in the standings with three Riders to come I cannot believe what I’m seeing with Adam rager season is falling apart and Gabriel Mar next up to try and take Advantage I see he certainly has battle on his hands with Adam reer for third overall but increasingly looking like closer match is going to be with certainly that’s where we’ll watch closely in terms of the race for future honors I’ll say separated by two years in age likes of anel jeler Toby Martins

Forre Hager all in that age range as well Raa as he’s increasingly proving in the Twilight of his career Bo we know will one day be unseated then hope to take up the top spots in the series after that Gabriel Marc and haime busto the next two men out onto the Arena floor

Mar you really had attacking early in section one with great alacrity gisan in his 20th ex- trial appearance Adam rager started well with cleans in sections one and two the Run went away from him from there must he Wast no time at all in section one

That’s got to be the fastest section one performance thus far section two next up Lean by three riders in a row J Martin and rager Target then to do the same here for Gabriel Marci slippery painted surface to get us underway Marci makes it up to the top Jordi Sanchez lifted

His arm to give a mark But then retracted it obviously thought Mar was going to drop something but uh he had other ideas repol montessa man repol Honda trial team formidable forc with Tony B as well I’ll say you the air apparent as far as they’re concerned work almost short on that

Landing if he’d been another couple of centimet to the left he would have been going down but Mar has done it in section two as Well Toby Mar style that put himself in the direction he to go looked to the end of the section and suddenly the bike was there section three up next nobody’s been clean through this one yet I’ll see you with backto back cleans but then again Adam rer managed that and went onto three

Players see you with a nice leap little bit off to the left hand side so he has to correct that with his right foot that be a mark for footing first drop Mark then of round one for Gabriel Mar did a little bit of breathing room compared to Toby Martin who [Applause]

Finished direct rival in the championship as I said Adam rager but the focus at this stage of the night will just to be keep scores to a minimum facing the Grand Final a target for Gabriel Mar two and a half minutes to go good back tire work there there from

Mar left fo off the PS for balance one step to come just being given an indication on the time as well 2 minutes 10 so far so good for Gabriel Mar nobody yet has completed section three clean interesting to watch Tony B keeping a close eye on his teammates

Turn before going into section four Up Up and Away for Gabriel Mar two Mars clear of Toby Martin just got to keep it clean from here good to see Martin KN contention for the podium spots again Mar in for another Podium only done it in odd rounds thus

Far not exactly a statistic but round one three and five finished podiums to his name this season Gabriel Mar well I would say that’s certainly one for leaning but was it two because he was close to the sum and then landed on the sum whether he hit it twice it is

Just the one that’s given by Jord Sanchez so two marks now for Gabriel Mar one section to come and a section which only Toby Martin has cleaned and if Mar drops a Mark here he’ll be level with Martin more than that he’ll slip behind him the case of a

Tie that might be for C order or for top spot obviously time is a Factor stand is on two that will move him on to three though because it’s a single drop Mark in section five the Gabriel Mar 3 seconds at the finish I think that toy Martin is going to beat Gabriel Mar on a tie break there on time because of

A drop Mar from Mar in section five but nonetheless that will make little difference in the podium battle between him and Martin because it will be the round two score that will settle that between them surely so good start for Gabriel Mar he might go behind Martin

Provisionally pair tied on three and Bo still to come here is ha buo new Crown 2023 Spanish Champion has beaten just once in the six rounds by Adam rager really since the retirement of Tony Bo from domestic competition it’s bow that’s dominated and this year providing his third National Title result once again

Underlying that he has emerged clear of everyone other than Bo in international trials making the step up ahead of Adam rer griel Mar following a little bit more closely in EXT trial compared to uh to outdoor summer action here’s haime buo then such a great Challenger to Tony

This year good to see him make the step up very Swift in section number one for no problems for him there section two next up first two both clean by Gabriel to Martin dropped a mark through section one he’s the man to beat of course for
