This is fights Camera Action where we feature wild dramatic and crazy confrontations in the raw from the people who were right there in the heart of the action you see your camera [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] in this episode we’re looking at nighttime troubles featuring Barb rules
Bust-ups with bouncers street fights under street lights and much more there are more camera phones CCTV and body cameras than ever before so when people get out of order there’s a good chance it will be caught on camera foreign we’ll speak to
Angela matanda psychologist and behavioral expert to find out why things turn violent at night and what goes on in people’s minds when it all kicks off we’ll meet some of the people caught up in the action to find out how it started we look down there is a Rumble
In the Jungle we’ll find out what really went down and what happened in the aftermath [Music] expect some shocking and brutal scenes along with plenty of seriously foul language [Music] people on a night out just want to have fun a few drinks a nice meal maybe some
Dancing [Laughter] usually it’s all good-natured and harmless [Music] sometimes things get out of hand all right time to leave come on let’s get him out there are a number of factors that can cause nighttime trouble you get large crowds you get alcohol chucked in you get
Different personalities Gathering Together people in different states of arousal whether it’s excitement or anger throw that all together and you’ve potentially got big problems when it comes to nighttime confrontations there’s a good chance at least someone involved will
Have had a drink or two alcohol affects the way we behave so if we’re out on a night owl and we’ve had a lot to drink how alcohol will affect us it affects the way we make decisions it affects the way we process information we can get really tunnel visioned we can lose
Concentration so in a situation where you’re normally going about your business sober you wouldn’t take offense at somebody looking at you funny you wouldn’t even notice it under the influence of alcohol all that changes so alcohol is a big influencer on how people behave on a night out
[Music] all around the world people flock to pubs and clubs for a fun night out but big groups of party people need controlling and it’s bouncers who are on the front line when things turn nasty bounces off like everybody else just trying to do their job they’ve taken
On a role where they know potentially their lives were at stake and Danger’s involved but I don’t think they should be penalized or attacked some places they’re quite friendly and creative atmosphere and make you feel even better before you come into the club
But in some places they’ve been through you know and killing the vibe before you answer I believe some could be a bit more discretionary than others and some could be a little bit heavy-handed at times as well balance is completely power hungry I’ve been attacked by one and
Pinned up against the wall by my neck and I just think that’s completely unacceptable I’ve been to a lot of clubs where they’re a bit aggressive with the way that they search you and you try and joke with them and they don’t joke with you back and they have a tough
Job and dealing with some stupid people sometimes bouncers who work the door get to decide who gets in and who stays out this gentleman is labor counselor Caleb Tomlinson he’s angry with the bouncers who wouldn’t let his partner re-enter a pub in Preston Despite threatening to shut the pub down he didn’t actually have any jurisdiction in the area the councilor was suspended but later reinstated after agreeing to attend anger management and alcohol awareness courses next stop Belfast three very vocal women are having a disagreement with a bouncer [Music] thank you
Something triggers The Bouncer and after pushing one woman to the floor the restful like dominoes another woman steps in to calm them down this old boy appears unfazed by the scuffle he’s probably Seen It All Before Bowsers do have boundaries though physical ones Beyond which they have no jurisdiction
When an argument develops outside a Minneapolis bar yeah security staff step in to calm things down but when some guys jump the barrier to continue the fight on the street the bouncers can only Stand By and Watch
Vegas there’s a stand to win a bouncer and a man in the black vest [Music] the man in Black looks very aggressive and like he’s about to unleash some serious martial arts moves on the guard but then the Cavalry arrived and it takes at least five of them to contain it
[Music] [Applause] [Music] but being a bouncer isn’t all about confrontation faced with a man who’s finding it quite difficult to stay on his feet this Burly New York doorman decides to pick him up and take him for a walk [Music] quite a in the rain To the local hospital where he can be looked after by qualified medical professionals [Music] thank you up next we’re right in the thick of the action getting a bouncer’s point of view of what it’s like when a night out turns violent [Music] the first time in my whole career I’ve been
Knocked down which was rather embarrassing and we’ll see why they could have done with some bouncers when this Mass brawl broke out in a pizza joint in America bouncers see plenty of nighttime troubles and these days many of them wear body cams
To record what happens around them we spoke to one seasoned professional about some of the incidents he’s captured on camera my name is said Muhammad I’m a bouncer and I’ve been in an industry for a very very long time started in 1979 when I was 17. I was quite young I
Was quite beefed up and I was quite prepared to have a go there’s a misconception among a lot of the public that bounces are just there as a hobby to bully people that’s not true our job is to make sure that people have a great time to counteract this image problem
Saeed feels it’s vital that bouncers take pride in their appearance and look the part as you can see you’ve got a nice Face coat on white shirt pressed polished boots nice crease trousers why because that tells the customer that not only do I have respect for
My own job but I’ve dressed up enough to have respect for them this is a personal choice uh the body cam calm down body cam is is going to record audio and visual um it’s not only a protection for you as a
Bouncer when dealing with a customer it’s also a protection for them because it guards both your actions while you’re being recorded he’s trying to help you out the last thing by no means least you may have not noticed but I’m I’m not actually that big chested
I’m actually wearing a ballistic uh shank proof and Broad knife vest there’s two reasons why I’m wearing this vest one is especially in the north where I work now a lot of people are pulling knives on us and they’re quite willing to uh stab us the other reason is
My wife won’t let me work without wearing a vest because she wants me to come home safely and not end up like a tea bag the body cam doesn’t always act as a deterrent note in
This incident Saeed has been told by the landlady to remove the man in the blue and red shirt right the law states very clearly that if I feel that you you got too much to drink
So you have to leave I am the only one I am the only one I’ll deal with some other people I am the only one no matter what I said it wasn’t gonna work so I then had to be firm
Just now doors come on what I forgot when I did decide to get him out was you ain’t got your regular bounces with you uh and the instant I saw the surrender in the eyes of
My two doorman that they supplied me I realized I was in trouble I’m asking to leave I’m the heads almost thank you thank you First time in my whole career I’ve been knocked out which was rather embarrassing when they were shown the CCTV the defendants because there’s no audio uh they made up a load of uh this was said and he said this and he said that and blah blah blah once the police had
The body count with the audio it was totally different to what they claimed so they just surrendered on this occasion side’s attention is drawn to the man in the red striped shirt what we’re seeing here is a customer that isn’t welcome anymore there was a bit of personal
Friction between the management and this customer a few days before [Music] risk from a bouncer stood near him or whether he felt he was going to have a goal he decides to put the key in a position that any experienced police officer or bouncer knows it is there for one thing
And that’s to damage you please I went the wide raid round so he only just saw me when I said hello how all right that’s not what you’re gonna have [Music] working his hand with a fist he’s got the key inside look look what the [Â __Â ]
Right you got the key I saw you take it but dealing with blokes who are likely to get violent isn’t the most difficult part of a bouncer’s job right thank you ask any bouncer out there with experience we would rather deal with Mike Tyson throwing hands than females
That want to hurt us because one culturally We’re Men we don’t want to hurt a lady yeah the other thing is that um no matter how less forceful we are that they seem to take advantage of that and they attack us again they don’t take no for an answer Stop it stop it what happened and why that situation happened had nothing the fights had nothing to do with that woman but what happened was this big bouncer accidentally stepped on her toe she reacted to that by ignoring his apology and smacking him on the
Nose and the bouncer was taking none of that and therefore she was removed she clearly took exception from being removed you’ve got to stand there and take the abuse of people that have been kicked out they will say things about your mother about your father about your pet gulp they’ll say anything to
Rile you up the funny thing is if it’s a pub that they’re a regular at they’re going to be back the next day and it’s amazing how apologetic they are If you love chicken [Applause] many of us love a takeaway after a night out but sometimes the promise of Kentucky’s finest chicken can make you forget that it can be an absolute minefield fighting restaurants can get messy not only is there all the food and drink to be thrown
Around but there’s also a lot of furniture to be used as Weapons this brawl seems to start with two girls fighting [Music] the guys step in to keep them apart but pretty quickly it’s the blokes that are the main aggressors this stocky chap in Black ends up taking the rest on single-handed Spilled food and drink in a vinyl floor are a dangerous combination it’s like an ice rink out there the pizzeria is starting to look like a wild west Saloon bar as the Fight Continues the person filming steps outside to get away from the flying chairs
The thing with fast food restaurants is you know people often go into them late at night they’ve probably been drinking and partying hard they’re feeling like you know I’ve just came here for my dinner they have to wait they’re in a queue somebody says something
And there you go you’ve got the potential for an explosive situation the guy in the white shirt looks like he’s already been in a fight but don’t worry he’s just in fancy dress as a zombie in front of him there’s trouble Brewing
The angry man on the right is arguing with the man behind the counter and seems to want him to go outside to settle the dispute the chap on the left is trying to calm things down but then the two of them start pushing and shoving and before long it’s a full-on fight
Zombie man gets involved to help break it up and that looks like the Karate Kid lending a hand too All right it’s Mayhem and once the fighters have been separated they realize one of the women is on the floor unconscious during the melee a woman had banged her head on the floor an ambulance is called and the situation seems to be under control but then zombie man realizes what’s happened
He then goes after one of the guys that started the fight Fortunately there were no reports that the woman was seriously injured [Music] there are certain times of the year when we get together in large groups to celebrate like New Year’s Eve or bonfire night but sometimes the fireworks are of a different sort [Music] Thailand the new year has just
Begun but there’s not much sign of Goodwill amongst these revelers at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin Texas the guy in the white vest is trying to pick a fight with a fellow Festival goer but someone in the crowd seems determined to stop him
A mystery assailant delivers a cheap shot from behind the fight spreads into the street and even the women get involved channeling the spirit of WWE one woman picks up another party goer and slams her into the ground [Applause] Americans love celebrating their cars and car meets like this one in
Austin are very popular but instead of showing off their vehicles these two are trying to put dents in each other’s Bodywork thank you [Applause] [Music] they spin out of control and come close to crashing into the park cars
But the owners are on hand to make sure their pride and joy don’t get damaged thankfully the big guy Parks himself in the way and they come to a stop whoa coming up find out what this boogie woogie playing jazz cat saw after a night playing
Piano ah Catherine an epic fight going on in Nashville Tennessee Music City USA gotta find out why so many men like to take their tops off when they get into a fight [Music] nighttime fights can happen anywhere victims often suffer serious injuries and the Fallout can put a huge strain on public services
Thank you in Cardiff Wales scenes like this used to be commonplace but these days street fights are a rarer sight with 40 fewer people going to a e with violence related injuries than eight years ago it’s partly thanks to the work of researchers at Cardiff University who came up with a series
Of strategies to reduce violent incidents we spoke to Professor Simon Moore to get the lowdown on how to banish boozy brawls the typical person that will be going out on a Friday Saturday night they’re usually young they’re going out with their friends they’re looking to have a good time they are probably
Going to be drinking alcohol and will likely become intoxicated across an evening some people will overdo it some people will be relatively sensible but by and large the average person will be drinking alcohol what alcohol does is it depresses the nervous system it
Slows things down people lose the ability to make a good decision they lose control over their body one thing that alcohol seems to do is make people really annoying very drunk people are particularly nice to be around one area of research looked at how revelers
Are affected by personal space or lack of it in a social environment where you’ve got a lot of people crammed in the same space a few people who are excessively drunk and causing problems will affect everybody and this is one of the main reasons we think that
Alcohol causes aggression and violence in this clip a mass brawl has started on a cramped pavement outside a bar and Spilled Out into the street if you’ve got a situation about a lot of bars and pubs and clubs all spill out into a narrow pavement obviously you get
A lot of crowding stressful environment it’s absolutely key in promoting violence if you’re being jostled your feet are being trodden on your friend or girlfriend or partner is being jostled you become stressed and people who are stressed are more likely to be violent
One solution is to pedestrianize around these areas and give people more space more breathing room and create a more relaxed environment problem the team looked at was the number of glass related injuries like the one that happened in this bar fight where a man was hospitalized after being hit over the head
With a bottle [Music] when a fight breaks out people very often start looking for weapons to use one of the weapons to hand would be a glass is a face surgeon and he was seeing an awful lot of injuries sustained because glasses
Were used in fights be very much pioneered the idea of swapping regular classes with plastic classes in a way that people can’t really notice the change obviously helps a lot it reduces the availability of an important weapon in these contacts sort of assault with
A glass will result in very significant injury if a plastic glass is used those injuries are almost entirely gone this simple idea caught on across the UK and has made a massive difference when bars in Hull switch to plastic glassing injuries fell from 55 to zero in just one year
Replacing glass with plastic is all very well but if there are loads of drunk people out on the streets at night then there’s always going to be problems pretty much every single accident emergency unit across the country on a Friday or Saturday night we’ll have 70
Percent of their patients intoxicated Frontline staff are effective because they are confronted by some often violent and aggressive people they can be abusive verbally they can throw pots of urine over nurses that has happened The Police become involved several cities
Around the UK are now using drunk tanks at the weekend clinics for those who have seriously overdone it and may otherwise have cause trouble on the streets or clogged up a e foreign City centers rely heavily on CCTV cameras to help spot trouble but they don’t always see it
Until it’s too late so the city center environment you would typically have many hundreds of cameras monitoring and therefore feeding through to human operators the trouble is that one or two operators cannot monitor all fees all of the time this creates a problem and one
That can be solved with technology Professor Moore’s team are working on a solution fight detecting cameras what we’ve been doing is working with CCTV footage and training computer systems to identify the early signs of violence if we can do this and early signs are suggesting
That it is successful but what we can do is put resources in place to intervene early de-escalate and stop serious assault and therefore injury from occurring [Music] night in large numbers and when two or more groups get into disagreement it can
End up in a mass brawl [Music] it’s late night in Illinois and a group of guys and girls are mouthing off at each other watch the bloke in the gray hoodie who’s about to kick things off [Music]
[Music] [Applause] one of the girls tries to split up the fight and for a while it all calms down but only for a wife gray hoodie is back in action and then it’s a free-for-all in the road [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]
Yeah baby we love baby damn we love Eddie gray hoodie swings a boot and the chap in the black and white top goes straight for it they slam into the railings and everyone piles in again [Music] [Applause] damn [Music]
Two groups of people are fighting in a Chicago Street the woman in white grabbed some sort of stick which her friend then takes to use as a weapon without much success [Applause] in the scuffle one man gets thrown through a shop window and beat him with the stick
The fight carries on around the parked cars and the passing traffic fortunately it’s not long until the cops arrive it’s the early hours of the morning by the time this lot get into a fight after the guy in the vest is hit with a sucker punch [Music] his mate in Gray decides it’s
Time to hit back before two more guys join in the retaliation and as the fight breaks up the guy filming reveals he’s not an impartial Observer hey guys guys take it out here the cops can come hey hey you guys [Â __Â ] them up good job boys Even at night when it’s cooler many fights seem to involve blokes taking their tops off there are a number of reasons why somebody would rip their shirt open in the middle of the fight they’re bearing all they’re I’m in my rage look at me and it’s quite an attention-seeking
Behavior you can’t ignore that person it’s almost edging on animalistic and I think when you see somebody in that state it can be actually very disarming this fight broke out at a fast food joint on the Gold Coast of Australia Viking hey holy [Â __Â ] it starts with everybody
Fully shirted up but when the fight moves outside it’s really start to hot up and off come the shirts oh [Â __Â ] fortunately the cops turn up before things get too out of hand [Â __Â ] time in Vegas the short guy who’s taken his top off is goading the guy in white
Into a fight by offering him three free punches but the big guy seems reluctant to get involved no shirt keeps on going [Music] until eventually the big man takes him up on his offer sure enough when no shirt throws a punch it does get juicy
[Applause] and he ends up getting just what he asked for [Applause] a fight is brewing in San Diego and onlookers are deciding whether to back the guy in the white shirt or the one who’s gone topless
It certainly looks like a mismatch when it comes to who uses the gym more often but there are other factors to take into account like who hits first and how many are on each side just as things start to get really serious
[Music] the police are on the scene to break up the fight s are usually chaotic and Lawless but they do sometimes involve some unspoken rules and fight etiquette these two are having a one-on-one in front of a noisy crowd [Music] [Applause] on a Hollywood Street but when somebody else decides to join in
One of the fighters chases him into him in tyria and teaches him one of the unwritten rules don’t join in a one-on-one fight these two guys are about to have a one-on-one at A Streetcar event in Kent Washington first on look a spot a woman wielding a potentially dangerous weapon
When the fight starts she’s quickly reminded about the no joining in rule the one-on-one continues but when someone else does get involved [Music] the crowd react quickly to enforce the rules of the one-on-one come on two women are having a vicious nighttime fight in front of a group of friends they’re all
Following the unwritten rules of the one-on-one [Music] although the girl who’s still standing doesn’t want to let her opponent off the hook little break huh get the [Â __Â ] up she relents but not without giving her a little put down first you might want to get her some mice for that knot
These two have agreed to a street fight their mates are being careful about certain rules they’re making sure the fight is fair take them down you’re wrestling not a boxer hey Lance if you want to put him in a double that they don’t make too much noise and disturb the neighbors
Coming up a brutal street fight kicks off in Nashville Tennessee we find out what went down from the man who filmed it all men future people fighting left and right going at each other like nobody’s business we get to see it all from another camera right in the thick of the action A huge nighttime Street brawl is kicking off down in the deep south of the United States we got in touch with the man who filmed this footage to get the lowdown on this showdown my name is Brandon and I captured an epic fight going on in Nashville Tennessee Music City USA [Applause]
I was playing a show myself and uh I played Boogie Woogie piano and after the show was over I load up the piano in the uh parking garage and all of a son mom we looked down
There is a Rumble in the Jungle okay we’re back on we’re back on we gotta ask you we got fights all over now look at that so this is the mainland on Broadway it’s just people fighting left and right going at each other like nobody’s business obviously
Somebody has said something that pissed somebody off the beauty of it is nobody has knives or guns that that it’s a good old-fashioned fist fight um he is not here Frasier is not here I just got a new phone and uh I hadn’t tried the uh video out there yet but that’s
A hell of a video to get but Brandon wasn’t the only person capturing the fight and on street level things looked a whole lot worse I called the police before I started filming it took way too long for Metro Police too secure the situation [Music] for tourists
That come to Nashville I don’t want them to think Nashville is like this I’ve been here 20 years I’ve never seen anything like it oh believe me it’s not gonna stop it’s not over someone is and it’s gonna start up again I thought to myself you know seeing it it it’s it’s kind
Of sad to see you know people fighting so you have to make a joke out of it we got fights all over now look at that in all seriousness I was shocked at the the amount of people fighting and it’s it’s a sad thing because there there should have been gas that you
Know said stop stop stop stop stop stop that fight has dissipated before the police have gotten here yeah [Music] as streets get more congested incidents of road rage are on the rise and for some drivers night time brings out their worst behavior in West London a
Car is being attacked by a gang of baseball bat wielding youths apparently it all started over a dispute about overtaking and [Music] for the culprits managed to escape in the black BMW and one made his Getaway on foot
The victims were left shaken but not seriously hurt oh yeah these late night motorists in Crete aren’t exactly in the holiday mood yeah [Music] this car door kick turns the verbal fight into a physical one After the young woman pleads for them to stop some passes by eventually come to break it up come on in London a cyclist is fighting with a taxi passenger the passenger tries to throw the Rider’s bike off the road but gets pushed and kicked before he retaliates with a punch [Music] all right
After the cyclist tries to hit the man with his bike he gets punched again when he comes back one more time he gets the hat-trick [Music] and eventually the bad cyclist is Led away for his own safety [Music]
Thailand a white shirted tourist is trying to enjoy a late night snack but the noise of a moped engine is putting him off so he switches off the ignition but the moped Rider isn’t happy [Music] he hits the tourist who doesn’t see the punch coming
And his left bloodied and bruised his attacker was arrested by the police and admitted the attack yeah as sure as night follows day there will always be some people who can’t help coming to blows in the shadows whether they’re kicking off with their tops off [Music] except doing karate chops in chicken
Shops or fighting with furniture but for most of us no time is the dark at night [Music] foreign [Music]

Dont watch this dum woke video
If there was no alcohol or drugs none of this would have happened.
The three girls part. The one in yellow kicks him it’s what kicks it all off.
Dudes don't want to get wrapped up in their shirts during a fight…clothes are great place to grab and control someone
That's the dumbest explanation I've ever heard as to why dudes take their shots off to fight. Well done, darlin.
