I will be bike touring from Hartville, MO to Jamestown and then up to New York via the Atlantic Coast Route. I was wondering
1) If there were any cool places to stop
2) Any off routes (based on the ACA map) that would be better to take or are just cooler
3) Any advice for the route
4) If importing a komoot route directly to a garmin device from the app will keep all the points of interest (waypoints like bathrooms, restaurants, etc) and they will show up as a notification on the garmin ( I have a 540 and a 530 for spare)
I purchased the ACA maps for the ride in case my bike computer doesn’t work for any reason. Below is an approximate route (I will have to make a few updates to the gpx file based on the TransAmerica Route and the Atlantic Coast Route)
