The eastbound bus lane along Winston Churchill Avenue has been extended back to Isambard Brunel Road to provide a safer lane for people cycling south and the then east.
In addition a new drop kerb has been provided in Hyde Park Road to enable cycle movements through here too. It is not ideal – nor our preferred scheme – and will need an awareness to pedestrians, but at least allows continuous travel without dismounting or bumping up / down a full kerb height.
