Hi, I’ve found this 1986 team fuji listed at $120 in a city that is a few hours away from me. If it were local I’d jump on it, but it’s a 6hr round trip, probably around ~$50 in gas alone, and at the very least the rear derailleur has been changed for an early Shimano 600 SIS (I think it should have been Suntour Sprint). I don’t really need this bike, I already have plenty of projects, but it’s hard to pass up on a potentially good deal. There is also a same-year 1986 “club Fuji” like a half hour from me, listed at $180, but seems to have some smaller scuffs and scratches. It has a full group of Suntour Cyclone (I think Cyclone 2?). Is the slightly “better” bike worth driving a whole five hours more for? Is there a noticeable difference between Suntour Sprint vs Suntour Cyclone?
