Welcome to Swinley Forest, 1,000 hectares of prime riding land in the sunny south of England. Okay, it’s not the sunniest place in the world, but when compared to the rest of England it’s not too shabby.

Located just off highway M25 which circles London, Swinley is one of the best all-around riding centers in this part of the country with trails ranging from beginner-level to intermediate. Ollie and Brendan Fairclough (aka, Bren-Dog) have hit Swinley during a scorcher of a day by UK standards — they’re actually sweating — and they are tearing up the trails. They even establish a new park challenge, a tabletop-to-tabletop transfer dubbed the Wilkins Leap.

Hello I’m only working and this is the United Kingdom of dirt so we’re here in a swinging forest it’s the Crown Estate of a thousand hectares of wonderful riding land there’s a three new trails full of firms jumps everything really and we’re here to ride that today I’ve

Got my good friend friend dog here and we’re here riding all the trails it’s about basically 15 minutes from the m25 really close to a train station there’s everything you need from a bike shop bike hire cafe big car park where you can get parking tickets there’s a green

Trail blue trail and a red front with everything from firms to jumps a little jump Park load of a downhill tray well like any but bikepark is obviously a sustainable surface but this one seems quite sandy and it makes it mega fun just going inside for the trails flow good fun so far

What happens pretty much every road I’ve ever been on in my life and it is not me someone gets puncture it’s so fire will flow so easy we’ve got a green trail red trail and a blue trail will range from different disciplines all work all weathers whether it’s rain or shine it’s always

They’re always going to be good to ride River in all three today and they’re all pretty good fun you can come here just with your heart with your family where you can come here with your group of friends it’s so it’s always going to give you something to ride and something

Fun to do now like I said you can ride in the Sun or in the rain prefer it in the Sun but a want to write their pottery can we’re just stopping for lunch probably coming on the hottest day of the year and Plus Breton wanted to have

A quick pop in the playground here it’s windy I say the ridings um for more of the intermediate riders not really any super extreme stuff for any any crazy routes or rocks everywhere it’s kind of more of a flowy trail for some walking intermediate intermediate rider but also

As their as a pro rather a more confident rider you can still have a lot of fighting the berms will flow into each other well all the downhills are good fun and the jumps are great – whispers eat out of turn pop out the firm into the back of the burns off this

Tabletop into the back of second table if they’re working sleep upper swirling about to go trainer tell you our seeds of white article backs bucket today I was really really for our wedding price as a necessary trouble to try and get speaker is here’s the thing wait let everybody get be more soothing

Their game pedal so we’ve just come to sort of the main hub of some downhill trails with a more gnarly technical riding there’s one called babymaker one called deerstalker and we’re riding those at the minute and they’re pretty much yet the more technical riding up they’re pretty fun

So that was Swilley Forrest one of the best spots to really write in the South of England a proper do-it-all trailer center as loads to do up here me and Brett have had a really good day riding and that’d be definitely back soon worth the trip thanks for watching epic TVs

You know if your kingdom of dirt see you next time

  1. WTF has happened to the jump gulley? Someone should be shot for filling that in. What's more they built a fucking crazy free ride track way more deadly with 9ft gap jumps with no room for fuck ups. Still love Swinners

  2. We rode there on Sunday. I cant believe how badly the trail surface has worn away! 90% is like riding on cobbles and shake the hell out of you. just not fun any more! and the gully is no more, Im sure there must be some really cool local stuff hidden away. Lets hope they dont get the same building treatment as the jest.

  3. How is this park for someone who isnt at a very high level yet? Im pretty confident on most features except burms and jumps, could probably do these trails but i would be quite slow.

  4. The good: Amazing amount of trails in a small area. They've really worked at it.
The bad: Crowded, mostly flat, carpark full of Freds and expensive, sh1t food, crowded, crowded, bracknell, m25,

  5. The only problem I have had at Swinley are the twats who shout at you if you aren't travelling as fast as them and demand you go home because they think they own the place.
I just go even slower. Tremendous fun. I'm sure half of them get 'roid rage.
