We’ve had a great start to the season if you ignore the carabal cup we sit on top of the Premier League table and are currently on course to qualify from our Champions League group however today we have a more difficult run of games and if we lose it could derail our entire

Season now we’re using the Your World game mode where no transfers from real life have happened and we can redo the entire window and Chelsea have done a good job they’ve got Victor Osan up top and Manuel ugar in the CDM position with Kaku on the bench so I’m not really

Feeling too confident we are slowly getting some players back from injury though Varan is starting today it’s his first start since his injury and Sancho is just a few days away so we won’t use him in the game against Chelsea but going forwards he will get more game

Time so as the game gets underway I think a quick thank you is in order from me to you as Bara Fernandez takes this free kick mctom puts it just over the bar that’s not what we got to thank you about by the way I want to say thank you

For the support shown on these Let’s Plays so far we’ve not done let’s play for a long time but we’re trying something a little bit different at the start of fm24 as Mount puts that just wide of the mark episode one of this series is the most watched episode one

Out of any football manager content creator which is mental considering this is not the usual stuff that we do on the channel now so for everyone who has watched and enjoyed it and subscribed and liked the videos much appreciated because it all goes a long way to having

Think it’s sensible to start a second channel for those videos a lot of you will be questioning why you doing a second Channel and not just putting all on the main Channel and that’s because I just don’t think the two bits of content work together particularly well if people are subscribing for the

Experiments and the one-off sort of videos they will get quite confused by the fact that there’s a ton of let’splay series content on the channel as well it just doesn’t quite make sense being on the same channel despite it being the same game so we are starting a second

Channnel for the let’s play stuff where it’s got its own dedicated place so there is a link in the description to more Tom FM which you can go and subscribe to for more for more I think aiman’s offside here please please please please please be offside yes

Much happened in that first half of note so whilst I was rambling on about you guys and saying thank you very much we can actually focus on the game at hand and Chelsea are decent you know I I think in a few obviously last season was terrible for them they’ve had an okay

Start to this season but nothing not quite good enough for Chelsea expectations right but given the amount of players they’ve bought they’ve like carpet bombed Europe by dropping bombs of money on clubs to buy Young that’s not a great analogy really is it as they have scored a goal give it five years

They will have the best team in Europe by a long shot and they’ll just win everything I mean Todd B’s getting a lot of stick but to be fair I think he’s actually done a pretty good job shortterm pain for long-term success although they really should have signed

Vict Rossman over Nicholas Jackson I think this summer and this is why he’s scoring goals for them right now in this game and we need to do something about it our front line are not playing particularly well so rashford goes up top we’ll bring Anthony on we we need Sancho back from injury

ASAP I might bring batarina on and you know what I might even bring Christian Erikson on too we’ll go a little bit more attacking I’m going to not press that button I’m going to shout encourage to the team hopefully we get ourselves draw out of this game however the clock

Is ticking down there’s nothing going on in the highlights we’ve lost it not a great game but the positive is that rapael Varan has come back into the team and got the highest rating in the team though with a 6.9 so that’s something we should still

Be top of the Premier League table we are by a single point ahead of Chelsea just beat us that’s not ideal we’ve got a few days off before we take on Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League we will try and rotate the team as much as

Possible there within reason like I want to win the game but I do think the Everton game coming up afterwards is a bit more important at the moment now I don’t need to think I’m bashing on the Champions League at all I’m not I I I really do enjoy the Champions League

Let’s bring Kim on at Center back as well I just don’t think realistically we’re going to win it this season we should qualify from our group fairly comfortably but I think we have a better chance of winning the Premier League this season than the Champions League I

Think a bucket list item of mine is to get to a game at Red Star Bell grade I think the atmosphere just looks so cool particularly for the Eternal D I mean I might actually be too scared to do an eternal Derby if I’m honest with you I I

Value my life really uh and so if I was going to do that I’d be way in the middle away from everything and just admiring the fans in either another pitch or maybe I don’t want to be in the middle maybe that’s the the least safe

Anything from our end so let’s go a bit more attacking here and actually maybe there’s a situation here we bring batarina on a little bit further forward and then we make casemiro that more ball playing defender on support there just to try and push players forward a little bit more give

Our Strikers a bit more other hand up top maybe also take Anthony off not playing particularly well we bring uh rashford on on that left hand side but I am reluctant to make too many changes I am trying to rotate the team trying to rest some key

Players for the Everton game as Ramos finds Garo who does finally break the deadlock in the game puts us ahead that is exactly what we needed and now I’m going to shout encourage just to try and score a second goal here also looks like Kim is tired let’s just make this quick

Sub here to bring in nasio on at left Center back to be the the the the what’s it called labero that’s what I’m looking for it seems to be that labero is working nicely in the in this system like I love the fact he pushes forward help to the Midfield allows players to

Push further forward from Midfield in the first place like we don’t need four players at the back when we’re defending like this for example you can see how ino’s push forward so I do like that however they don’t seem to get great match racings which maybe they’re not

Playing very well or maybe it’s just an inherent thing of a libero where they’re just not getting great Match ratings in the game because it seems to be whoever plays libero gets the worst Match ratings in our team as Garo makes it too you love to see it and

With about 10 minutes or so to go in this game we should be home and dry here for a nice win one final highlight potentially though if we can make it three that helps our goal difference out because we got absolutely battered by by Munich in the opening game of the

Champions league and Ramos you love to see it scores another goal that will do his confidence the world of good and excellent a 3-0 win there lovely stuff to get over that loss against Chelsea hopefully that puts us back into winning ways for the Tottenham game other games

Have taken place which means that Fulham go top of the table by two points ahead we can’t go top now Fulham are having an incredible season somehow they’ve kept mitrovic you see how many goals has he got so far this season six and 10 it’s better than any of our players let’s get

Everything so we need to build up as much as possible at the start of the Season ah now this is frustrating uh casemiro in the 87th minute has picked up a potential foot injury has got to come off Scott mctominay on you come then to see the game out hopefully it’s

Not too serious for casemiro to be fair he’s not been the best this season he’s not like he is getting an eight rating every single game he’s been fairly average so it’s not the worst injury to have in the world but it would disrupt our rotation options you see so second

In the table then much better goal difference than Fulham but as you can see Arsenal already have a better goal difference than us this is what I mean this goal difference battle is going to be so important coming the end of the season so how bad is the casemiro injury

Uh okay it’s not awful three to four weeks out for a good few games but it’s not like I said it’s not the worst injury ever and for what feels like the first time in a long time apart from International break we had just before the episode started we do have a week

A great name sporting also up there PSG up there gank of course the team from Ecuador and Real Madrid to be fair there’s not a huge amount of potential in this man united under 21 side the best potential is fourstar potential it’s Isaac who’s a sens actually looks

Fairly decent to be fair Championship level play maybe we should be looking to use this guy a little bit under 18 is not an awful lot better now Shay Lacy is 16 years old has got five star potential but given how short this man united save

Is going to be in the in the Early Access phase of fm24 I don’t think we’re going to be able to use him unfortunately oh talking of Player Development apparently man united are third we’ produced 18 players that are playing for Top Flight clubs right now

Which also makes you think why are Man City rated as the best Academy in the world when like well look at this they’re not even on the they’re not even on the list Gara by the way training very very well you love to sit let’s

String and a lot of players are pushing for first team spots Bina Sancho and sha you know they should maybe be in the first team and nasio is is pushing for first team as well so there’s plenty of and today too he’s on the pitch as well

So Ramos is our starting Striker okay it’s not even a second string team it’s like they’re all rotational options they’re all players fighting for a first team place it’s not like I’m putting the own 21s out for example so we should see a good result in the end here and that

Is a decent shot from anio it has resulted in a corner but can we actually do anything from it says Erikson far post andasio can’t win it drops nicely to Sancho though can he just find someone on the edge of the area no he he

Let’s do that a bit more attacking our entire stance Ramos on a 6.4 so Sancho I think changes needed there rashford up top will bring Garo on and swap him with I don’t think either of them can play really as the inside forward very well

I’m going to shout demand Mo as well you know I am demanding more of this team I specifically request that we score a goal as Erikson’s corner is swung to the far Post in nasio can’t rise for it though clearance only as far as garnacho close to the halfway line actually

Decent header on that one from Red Star as they get the ball away and clear their penalty area completely but doow finds Erikson chipped it over towards garnacho header in the area blocked by Defenders and cleared but only as far as Luke Shaw who drives down this near side

Of the pitch cuts it back inside and we’re working it backwards now into the pen into the penalty I hope it’s a penalty area it’s not quite yet as Anthony now gets in the penalty area is right if that’s a that’s not a penalty it’s not a penalty ref I mean I’ll take

It if it is but if that is what you’re giving a penalty for it will feel dirty oh my they’re given it as well they’ve given it as well who’s on the oh it’s Erikson isn’t it I meant to change this after he’s missed finally scores a penalty he’s

About it I’ll just be happy when garnacho squares this and Anthony scores it for us to take the lead we’ve been very lucky against red star 15 to go in this game we’ll give mctom a slight rest I think before we end up playing against Man City obviously a lot to be expected

From Momin that Casmir is out for a little while as Maguire hits the post Anthony see that looked more like a penalty to me as opposed to whatever happened before so we weren’t give him one there maybe the referee feels he he made a mistake and you know fair enough

We got the penalty let’s not complain too much but Anthony now crosses to in asio who takes it on the full volley should have buried that one there is another chance though with Erikson taking the shot in the end that was actually very quick to be fair but we’ve

Got the goal you love to see it 3-1 maybe we just have that extra level of Fitness that we can just dig into at the very end of games because we seem to be dominating red star in both games from 75 minutes onwards and was even chance

For a fourth goal right now as garnacho is tackled unfortunately but we can force these mistakes can’t we’ve seen it happen quite a few times but red star done well to get the ball up to the halfway line there comes the mistake now Maguire dribbles forwards finds Anthony

Out wide no real option to go forward though so goes backwards to try and then go forwards again afterwards but red star pushing quite High to fa their players clever ball chipped over to Luke sha he’s got aces of space to find garnache his near side now turns the

Wrong way but does find batarina in the penalty area across the Christian eron who gets his hattick today by the way out of nowhere 4-1 and now the clock ticks down now we win the game that puts us in a very strong position to qualify from our group in fact barring a

Complete meltdown against Celtic we virtually have qualified well done Christian uh superb in front of the goal last time keep it up but of course up next the Manchester Derby the big one man city not been good this season so this might be our chance to make

Manchester red oh we’ve got to have a chat with Harry mcgu now because he’s not getting enough first team football I’d rather not Marcus can you have a word please with him and just sort it he can’t okay Harry he wants to go out on loan look we tried to sell he

Permanently but no decent bids came in and I’m happy to sort of keep your his back up but we have to bring someone else in in January so is there an option to yeah permanently go leaving it the ends so be it okay we’ll sell you ASAP
