Hey guys a bit of a long winded one, not sure anyone will have the answer so seeking opinion. I have a magura vyron wireless dropper (so immediately its not the cable causing the issue!). It’s stopped coming back up and it’s seriously stiff. I did a partial clean under the collar, in doing so I removed 2 of these. They don’t go all the way around the post, but I cleaned, greased and managed to get one sleeve back in. The other which went on top of the first won’t go in easily and therefore stops the dropper working again so I’ve left it out. I’m aiming to see how it goes- I’m guessing it’s only going to get me so far then it will need a service anyway and then I’ll just hand the sleeve in with the dropper. For now, dropper is functioning normally again. Question is….Will I miss this in operation and do you think only having one will damage the post? Clearly its “meant” to be there…Thanks for any thoughts.
