Everything you need to know about the Duotts F26 is the topic of the day. Hi, welcome to the YouTube channel of le vélo régional.com magazine. Today you will know everything about fat bikes, speed bikes, electric bikes, e-bikes, whatever you want, remember
That it has two engines, it’s a twin engine. It has a front motor and a rear motor of 750 W, for a total of 1500 W and that’s not trivial. Thanks to this video, you will know absolutely everything
About this bike, its behavior on the road but also on the road, its characteristics, the pluses and minuses, my conclusion, how to unblock it because yes on paper, it can go as far as ‘at 60 km/h, but we’re not there yet. Stay tuned until the end of this video here we go,
Generic. So when you buy the bike you receive it in a large box with all the accessories you need inside to be able to assemble it. Obviously, because yes it’s up to you to put it together, well in part. You only have to assemble a few components, remember that it will take you
About 30 minutes to completely assemble the bike. So I’m not going to make you a complete video on assembling the bike, it’s useless, there is a Duotts video that exists and which is very well done. I’ll put the link in the description. So inside you have a pump that is
Delivered, but frankly it’s a emergency pump. And then you have a nice thing, you have a smartphone holder with a connected USB socket, that’s cool. A few more little details. Honestly, the luggage rack is really complicated to put on. So be patient, it happens. And as you can see in the images,
I received the bike with the damaged end guard. The bike wasn’t very well packaged, so I hope you have better luck than me if you buy it. So before going to test the bike you obviously have to charge the Lithium Ion battery with 48 V and 17.5 AH LG cells.
The battery is designed to have 1000 charge cycles, not bad. To do this you have to connect it to the 2 amp and 54.6 V charger. Either you do it directly on the bike, you lift
The small cap and you plug the battery socket on one side and onto the mains of the other. And if you want to remove the battery, you put the key in, you turn it, you turn the little bitono which is underneath and you simply remove the battery. There is nothing more simple. On
The other hand, tell yourself that it will take you around 9 hours to fully recharge the battery, it’s still quite a long time. So a little advice, as soon as you finish your little bike ride, recharge the battery
Directly. And finally, as I speak to you, tell yourself that recharging the battery will cost you between 15 and 20 cents. It’s still interesting, isn’t it? ! So as usual I’m going to talk to you about the
Comfort of the bike because it’s important. So at the front we have an 80mm travel fork. It’s a spring fork which still has hardness adjustment dials so that ‘s not bad. So then you have big Chao Yeng tires measuring 26 inches by 4 inches wide,
Fat bike type. And then I advise you to inflate them to 1.4 bars maximum for more comfort. On the other hand, they don’t have a reflective strip to be seen at night, which is a shame. And then we have a
Big bowel movement. So really big which is really comfortable. It has two small springs at the back and above all it is hollow in the middle as you can see. So it’s a ventilation to air out your ass so that’s not trivial. I hadn’t seen it yet, in any case it’s
Nice and at least we’re comfortable. So in terms of riding position, I’m pretty comfortable on this bike. I’m relatively upright, a bit in mountain bike mode, but not too bent over, so that’s good. And then my hands are well supported on the ergonomic handles so that’s cool too.
In short, I’m really well settled. You just have to be careful, the handles tend to turn so if you can add a small dot of glue. We are going to do the climb test knowing that we have two 65 nm motors which makes 130 nm. If you put both engines in, which I
‘ll put in right away! And oh my goodness, it’s amazing! So 130 Nm, 48 V and 750 W and therefore the two motors. You have one at the front and one at the rear at the hubs. Plus you have the Shimano Tourney TZ 7 speeds for info. It’s a shame
The little derailleur protection is missing but hey, that’s not very serious. And so the bike propels you up to 25 km/h without any problem, respecting French legislation of course . But you can unblock it. And yes, how do we unblock it? I’ll show you
That right away. So to adjust the different small parameters it’s not very complicated, you press the plus and minus buttons at the same time. So there you see that you have P1 P2 it is to go from kilometers to miles. We are good P3 48 that’s not what interests us 10
Either there you can change the number of assistance level so if I press the little button on the side and I do more you see you can put between one and 5 levels of assistance 0 and 7 levels
Of assistance 1 and 7 levels of assistance 0 and 9 1 and 9. Frankly I stay on 0-5 level of assistance it’s not bad I press here we I’m going to go up to level 8 and that’s where
I press on the side where we’re going to be able to change the kilometer per hour, sorry, and so you see it can go up to yeah, well, in short, it has no limit, which I think is It’s up to
100, it’s crazy, but hey, you’ll never go 100 km/h otherwise you’ll burn the bike. But we will say that in speedec mode you can reach 45 km/h. That’s it but as we are in France and we
Want to respect the legislation we are going to go back to 25 I press once on the side and I press I remain pressed on the side and there normally everything is good. That’s it for the settings. So once
Unrestrained it is announced that it can travel up to 55 km/h so as a reminder it is prohibited in France, you can go up to 45 by taking out insurance and having it registered. But as more and more of you watch the video also in foreign countries
The rules, the laws are not the same so some will be able to drive up to more than 50 km/h. If you follow the channel, you know that I also like testing bikes without electric assistance. So
Here we go, we’re going to test this Shimano 7 speed derailleur. So speed 1 2 3, it does its weight but it goes 4, 5, 6. The speeds are already going well, that’s a good thing. It’s still good to have an electric bike with real gears. That’s it friends,
I can ride a real bike thanks to the 7 speed Shimano. A good way to test the balance of the bike is to pedal without your hands and frankly it does it. We have a bike that is relatively well balanced, I can pedal without any problem without my hands and that is an
Important point in my eyes. Come on, let’s do the braking test. So here I have a barrier in front of me, we’re going to try not to get caught, assistance 5 and there’s nothing left to do but let’s go. Let’s not forget
That we have Island hydraulic brakes with 160 mm of travel. Come on, let’s go and well, frankly there are some who say that it doesn’t slow down, I think it brakes well. Well, I must also say that I have been riding the bike for a while, that the discs
Have had time to be made so they are no longer very new, at the same time what have I done, I have done 30 km but I validate these hydraulic brakes, it is still better than mechanical brakes.
Here we are in the forest, I still have to tell you about the weight of the bike, it ’s 38 kg. As I like to say, it still weighs a dead donkey. Even if it’s not a very nice expression but at least you understand what it means. So it’s really heavy,
You can’t carry it. You don’t have a handle somewhere to help you lift it so if it’s a few steps it’s fine but otherwise don’t have fun wanting to carry it honestly you have to be really strong and it’s not very practical. So it’s
Not enough to have big tires if you don’t use them. It’s still a fat bike, speed bike; even if here I limited it to 25 km/h and well I’m in the Meudon forest and I think it’s time
To go for a little bit of mountain biking and then some all-road riding. So let’s go, let’s go. Thanks to the fork at the front we’re pretty good and then come on it’s going to go everywhere oh I don’t know
If I should have gone that way great oh there what a foot oh there there’s a big hole yes ah there has big roots plus I have the bags behind. Well it goes everywhere, you shouldn’t drive too
Fast. This is honestly great. Oh this bike is great, it can really go absolutely anywhere without any problem. The engine is at the right power when it climbs it goes oh the roots there is really nickel water from nickel. This is really mountain biking ah it’s really good
I put myself in assistance 3 so as not to go too fast. I don’t want to bother with the bike even though it’s brand new. In any case, it’s really great, the big tires are really great, I knew it, but to test it’s even nicer for once. We’ll see if the
Tires don’t skid, it’s a little muddy. Impeccable, the tires fit well, a little descent, a great climb, let’s do another one. And so if I activate the twin-engine, in my opinion,
It’s even more of a shock yeah, so there it’s a shock for Max, come on, we’re going to make the big descent, yeah, great, oh there, the delirium, ah yeah, the twin-engine, well yes, that’s it, it’s that which serves the twin engine.
The twin-motor bike is a big deal, I now know what the twin-motor is for. I’m still going to be careful there, it’s going to be too much, it’s slipping, look, come on, I’ll give them
A little standing start on a twin engine, I’ll do it with the trigger [Laughs] or come on, here we go, it brings back memories when I was mountain biking here. I totally agree, it’s so good,
Long live the twin engine. By the way, stand behind your screen, don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments what you think of this bike, its look or anything else, I’m interested to really know what you think about it. Come on, let’s have a little standing start. We’ll see
How quickly we can reach 25 km/h. Here we go, oh, it’s going quickly 5 8 10 12 15 20 25 1 2 3 4 5 seconds, that’s great. We really have great responsiveness with this bike.
And the engagement we will see I think I believe it is done in one turn of the pedal. Hop half a half turn half a turn of the pedal and the bike takes you on, it’s really nice to have
Such a responsive bike. Come on, let’s talk about the cockpit. So the handlebars are not height adjustable. You don’t have a way to adjust it so that’s a bit of a shame. Then on the sides you obviously have the hydraulic brake handles, they are really very
Well made, they are pleasant, you can brake with two or three fingers. So on the left you have the controller, the bottom button is used to turn on the bike, the top button you can see your instant mileage, your mileage from your last trip, total mileage, etc.
And the bottom right button is useless. Normally it is there to turn on the headlights but there is another controller for the headlights. It’s the controller on the left where you have the headlights. You can turn them on and above all you have the horn and frankly
We are typically on a scooter horn. But absolutely no bike so I think that on a bike path I don’t know if it does the job well and if people understand that there is a bike
Behind them. Good to try. Otherwise with the controller on the left, you have the plus and minus buttons which allow you to raise or lower your assistance level. And then you have the green button which allows it to put one or two motors. So it’s really good. Frankly, I’m
On one engine all the time and I really put two engines either on hills or in mountain bike mode. On the right we have the Shimano gear levers so the 7 speeds that we saw earlier and above all you have the acceleration lever. So the acceleration lever
Normally in France the legislation is supposed to be an assistance up to 6 km/h except that there in fact you can only ride with the joystick You are no longer even obliged to pedal, it It’s really a lazy thing and I know that many of you also watch this video abroad, so
It’s only in France where it’s prohibited. But otherwise, here I’m going to give myself a little start with just the controller and presto you don’t even need to pedal, that’s cool. And finally in the middle you have the relatively pretty color display. When you turn it on it does
Lots of weird things so don’t be afraid at first I said to myself it doesn’t work but it does work. Above you have your battery level, your mileage, your assistance level and then as I said earlier you also have your mileage. so here I am at 34.4 and I have two bars left.
This little color display is nice. So in terms of autonomy it is sold to do between 100 and 120 km. I think it’s really with the assistance one flat. Honestly, I think that with a single engine I would do 50 or 60 km, knowing that there I
Still did a lot of climbing. So in my opinion it will be more than 45 km. And if you necessarily use both engines, you divide everything by two, it seems a bit logical at the same time.
So otherwise the look of this bike. Clearly he has a super nice look. It looks a bit like a mountain bike, I like it with the big tires and it honestly makes the job worse. And the frame is relatively classic aluminum like the majority of bikes and with visible welds.
The battery is relatively well integrated but hey you don’t have an insert you can’t attach an anti-theft device or anything else. And finally it will be suitable for a person between 1.75 and 2 m and for a
Maximum load of 150 kg. And what’s also cool is being able to put panniers on the luggage rack and that’s not given to all bikes. So I’m very happy to have this, it works well and then on the luggage rack you also have at the back the small space
To be able to put a license plate if you ride in speedb bike mode. And so you are obliged to register it. You also have the two plastic mudguards that are not great and are a bit of a hassle to assemble. And as I told you at the beginning, mine, the one
At the back, arrived damaged. So that’s good, they do the job, after all, it’s just what we ask of them. And then on the frame you have to wonder what that black box in the middle is too. It’s the controller. So on some bikes it is placed at the bottom
Under the frame and it’s not always practical, especially if you ride a little in mountain bike mode. You can hit it, you can damage it with a sidewalk so they put it there so it’s sure
It’s not pretty, it’s a little unsightly, but in any case well we need it because it is a bit like the brain of the bike. And it’s in a plastic box, so it’s up to you to put stickers on it if you want it to look prettier. Some additional features. The bike
Is currently available in black and red or in silver white and frankly I would have liked to have the silver white. I find it much nicer, don’t you? Tell me what you think about it in the comments. The Duotts F26 is being sold as
I speak to you for €1,349.99. But thanks to me you have a little additional promo code, I’ll put the link in the description if you’re interested. So the pluses of this bike. Obviously the power with both engines uphill or in mountain bike mode. It’s just crazy.
Frankly, there aren’t many twin-motor bikes like that with this much power, so twice 750 W. I remind you. Then the finishing because frankly the bike is really well finished. It’s honestly really everything is fine, there’s just one little thing, it’s that the
Paint is ultra fragile as you can see in the images. If you hit it a little, the paint tends to come off. So that’s a bit of a shame. The fact that the battery is hidden is also nice. We have a good fork at the front as you saw in off-road mode.
Frankly, it’s a serious task and above all it’s an ultra responsive bike you can really use it on a mountain bike with half a turn of the pedal and presto the assistance starts. So responsiveness is really extremely important, that’s not always the case on this kind of bike, especially at this
Price. And precisely the price and yes, a bike at that price is honestly really worth it. Let’s talk about areas for improvement because obviously the perfect bike doesn’t exist. The controller where it is placed is practical but it’s not beautiful it’s a shame I think they could have
Found a better system something prettier in any case even if it is well placed we don’t have a rear headlight connected unfortunately that’s a shame it’s a rear headlight that is recharged by USB fortunately it’s USB it’s not with a battery but hey that’s a
Real shame it’s a bit old school. Well, the advantage is that it has lots of modes as you can see. You can put red and blue font mode. We don’t have any rear suspension, it’s a bit of a shame, I would have liked to have a little extra suspension. And
Finally there isn’t much to say about this bike. In conclusion, yes it is an Urban bike and yes it is a bike that goes absolutely everywhere. With it you can really go up big hills, mountain bike, have fun, go in the mud, on the sand, you can do everything with this bike,
That’s really what’s great. In terms of value for money, it’s still difficult to make a bike this good with so much power, with two motors at this price, frankly it’s unheard of. And as I told you at the beginning frankly the usefulness of the twin engine
It is really only made for big hills or for big walks in the forest. That’s it for this video, I hope it was useful to you. If so, don’t hesitate to like and share. If you have any questions about this bike, don’t hesitate to ask them in the
Comments, I will answer everyone. Thanks again to Duotts for sending me this bike to test, frankly I had a lot of fun with it and if you want to see the other tests don’t hesitate to take a
Look on the Youtube channel. And while waiting for the next videos, I’ll see you soon ciao ciao.

Merci bon test 😊
Would you Buy it Again?
thank you very much for your video,
it was very helpful , i have just bought this f26 but I have to wait until December for delivery
Excellente cette chaîne Youtube !!!!! Enfin une chaine pour des speedbike . Un grand merci
Bonjour.
