A few days ago I bought a Ultimate CF SL 7 eTap. The bike is still on the way, but I already have a buyer’s remorse.

Starting with the color – I am starting to think it was not the right choice. I ordered it in [Deep Polar](https://www.canyon.com/dw/image/v2/BCML_PRD/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-canyon-master/default/dw7cb1c31c/images/full/full_2023_/2023/full_2023_ultimate-cf-sl-7-etap_3318_P02_P5.jpg?sw=874&sfrm=png&q=90&bgcolor=F2F2F2), but now looking at some of the pictures on this subreddit you guys post here, I am thinking I should have gone with the [Black Snow](https://www.canyon.com/dw/image/v2/BCML_PRD/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-canyon-master/default/dwa3d6b961/images/full/full_2023_/2023/full_2023_ultimate-cf-sl7-etap_3318_P01_P5.jpg?sw=874&sfrm=png&q=90&bgcolor=F2F2F2) or wait when it is available in black and put some white decals on like [this guy](https://i.redd.it/7i3dr7rk9qdb1.jpg) (great job btw if you are reading this).

Then I started reading more about the old debate of eTap vs Di2; Sram vs Shimano. I don’t have any experience with electronic shifting whatsoever and I see people complaining about the noise or losing chains on the front derailleur using the Sram groupset, which makes me regret the choice I made.

Now, I am also not sure about the 10-30 cassette and 48/35 chainring the bike comes with. My area is a little bit hilly usually with 8-10% grade climbs and I am thinking that with the current (poor) fitness level I will not be able to climb them.

Am I overthinking things and I should actually patiently wait for the bike to try it out before I make any judgments? Most likely. But I would like to know your opinion – would you go with something else in this price range (<$4000)?
