Picked up a demo Spire from Transition. Took apart all the pivots and cleaned and greased the bearings; swapped the fork, brakes, and wheels from my previous bike; new PNW carbon bars.
Ordered a new vivid and drivetrain for it(GX transmission, except for an xo1 cassette and chain).
Finally got out to ride it today. I still need to finish setting up the rear suspension, but it’s very smooth, looking forward to getting more miles on it.
Transmission is good, nice and quiet, shifts nice.
Weight stayed at 34.2lbs. a little heavy, but it’s a 170/170 travel and XL.
