On the territory of the present Shemonaikha district in 1902-1910, 4 German villages arose, the largest of which was Pruggerhof (Prugger’s farm), in Soviet times it began to be called in the Russian manner – Pruggerovo.
On the site of the current village of Pruggerovo, König built a house of two rooms, which he then sold to settlers – the Prugger brothers, and he himself moved closer to the water, where the new village of Könighof, now Köniukhovo, arose. Koenig leased his land to settlers and entered into agreements with them to grow sugar beets, for which he provided seeds and agricultural equipment.
In the construction of a sugar factory, Koenig enlisted the support of Semipalatinsk merchants, but in 1913, due to non-payment of rent on time, he was denied a lease. Koenig started a lawsuit, went to St. Petersburg for this purpose, lost the trial, and the outbreak of war with Germany completely thwarted all his plans. Koenig’s further fate is unknown.
And today we will talk with Reinhold Yakovlevich Rommel, one of the few descendants of Germans who still lives here.

Хорошие хозяева, кругом порядок,
I love Central Asia. I spent a lot of time in Uzbekistan and I fell in love with the country and the wonderful people. I would love to one day visit Kazakhstan. The natural beauty and ethnic diversity of Kazakhstan are amazing. Simple people are the salt of the earth.

What an amazing video, Artem! I really enjoyed watching, especially how they do their house chores, feeding the cattle (a shot from the inside of the cow shed!!) I bet this family also enjoyed showing their life to you. I also noticed that their yard looks not rich, but very neat and clean.
I have watched a few of these videos and am surprises that all family's have their dogs on short chains?. I really don't think the dogs would run away and if so would probably stay in the village. Even the cow in the shed here has a chain on it, why?? I do enjoy these videos very much, so thank you once again.
Thank you for another beautiful video, Артём!
Absolutely stunning!
I just saw your channel and subscribed immediately. Because you describe natural human life in a plain and simple way. I just think your videos would be more original if there was less talking and music.
Amazing👍
Even though he has moved to his new homeland, you still see traces of his frugal German life ways. 'Waste nothing and you want nothing from others' is a motto I have learned every since I was a small child.
I loved watching this beautiful video 👏👏
I really feel I have to comment on one part of this video. It broke my heart seeing that poor dog chained up like that. Is he (or she) EVER let loose to run and play? That just looks so cruel. And I hope they let that poor cow go outside once in a while, too. Why the chain around her neck if she's kept inside that tiny shack? Sometimes I just don't understand some people.
He made the right decision not to go to Germany. He never would have a life like he has now! Alles Gute für euch beide!
Wonderful video Artem, well filmed and great interview. Strange hearing German in a Russian/Georgian accent. Hope you are doing OK,
Ich do dich och liewe, dau schwätz dat selwe Dialekt mir schwätze he och an dem selwe daach! Doher fühl dich Willkomme he mei Guder! Kumm he wenn de de Lust häst or och net, ich denk du verstehst wat ich meh ❤ et is net so eefach
I wonder what would happen if ethnic Germans are forty percent of the population in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan?
Not only that they also have their own education system, dialects, traditional food recipes and speak the German language?
Also they have armed pacificists that means they believe members are armed with guns and are not aggressors in war, children get military education with other ethnic groups from these countries while speaking German and the local languages.
I want half of these Germans to come from East Prussia, Konigsberg, Pomerania, West Prussia, East Brandenburg, Silesia, Royal Prussia (Greater Poland) and Kuyavia-Pomerania 40% from all sixteen current German states 8% are from Czechoslovakia and 2% from other parts of the earth.
It's also very possible that these ethnic Germans would create their own currency for all six ethnic Germans in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. I wonder how this would impact history if this was real life?
Es wåre alles schön, wenn die armen Hunde nicht immer an der Kette gehalten würden.

very beautiful view of the mountains. Love your animals but it breaks my heart to see that their cow and dog are chained up. Why do they chain a cow when it's inside a barn? and the dog's chain is so short he cannot run around like a normal dog. I hope they will put a much longer chain or rope so he can walk and ran around like a normal dog. It makes me want to cry. I am an animal lover from California.
