It is amazing how some want to put Mikey down, yet it would be so easy to stop Mikeys youtube videos…….do not use your mobile phone while driving. The courts should start paying Mikey and others for each case they prosecute.
As both a cyclist AND a driver, I value the work that Mikey does. If people weren't so selfish, stupid, inconsiderate and egotistical, then he wouldn't need to do it. I see drivers doing stuff like this every day, so am investing in a camera to do what Mikey does. People need to understand that what they're doing is more dangerous than driving with alcohol in their system. Sadly, society is so hooked on these damned gadgets that people can't switch them off for even 10 minutes. It's a sad reflection on society generally that smart phones have had such a drastic impact on our lives. And I mean drastic. There is nothing whatsoever great or liberating about being so hooked on a gadget that you can pretty much no longer function without it – likes it's some grossly warped version of a life-support system.
Cycling Mikey is a legend.
He does it because he gets off on the power of dictating to people and publicly shaming them. It's not healthy.
He often rides alongside traffic on the right, eyes fixed on seating areas of drivers to his left and is not only making it very difficult if not impossible for oncoming cars to get past him safely, he is ensuring they cannot pass him with 1.5 metres as required by law. Look at the poor driver at 2:20, Mikey is in his lane and blocking him. You will find in nearly every video he is putting this stress on oncoming drivers, many of whom would not be expecting a cyclist there when there is a massive cycle lane available.
How he and his followers think such cycling just cannot, ever, be of more risk than a driver sat in stationary traffic on a phone, I am really not sure.

There are cyclists who have a FAR greater hit rate on bad drivers. A crusader for better driving, if you have a problem with his methods, then pay full attention to the road idiot.
Cycling Mikey needs to be recognised by the state in a form of merit, how many lives has he saved will always remain unknown but one thing is for sure England needs people like him.

We do not disagree with his actions. Only reprobates will disagree because they do not wish to be part of decent society where we are care for one another. This man, and others, are doing a job that the police will not do, could do, as part of the policing that they are employed to do.

People who are against him MUST be bad drivers or people who endose it. He literally tries to stop dangerous driving and save lives, how is that a bad thing? I've never read anything sensible from people who disagree with him, it's always just the "snitch" or "you have no life" type comments – how do people actually explain this dislike/disagreement with what he does?
We used to call these people Tell Take Tits . Using the phone while driving is wrong though. So I suppose he’s justified. Good to hear he had a good relationship with his Dad . Not jealous at all lol. I used to drink 🍺 drive when I was young( which I’m not proud of at all) lucky I saw the error of my ways in time.
He's a stalker, he harasses people, invades their personal space, spies on what they are doing on their phone, which makes him also a pervert. Harassment like he does is a crime. He does more wrong than right. He distracts drivers WAY MORE than any phone would with his reckless stalkerish stealthy approaches from nowhere, scares them. He just does this clown business for youtube views, attention.
What he does should be persecuted because he's not a cop, it's not his job to do this. He doesn't have the courage to fight serious real crimes so he, like the pusser he is, just goes after insignificant uses of phones while sitting NOT MOVING NOT DRIVING standing still in traffic which is stopped. Those people are literally endangering no one.
Nuance and common sense are needed. Not just to harass people blindly. It's a totally different and dangerous ordeal to use phone while driving at great speeds or even low speeds. The people he harasses are stopped, not moving. Ya he's a sad lil weasel wanka and should get a life, instead of stalking innocent people who have done nothing wrong.
As others have said, not only he distracted people more than phones, his cycling is also atrocious, in his videos he constantly blocks and endangers the opposite lane and upcoming traffic. In fact, he himself recorded proof of this time and time again, drivers honk at him because he blocks the road with his terrible cycling for youtube views.
This guy is really horrible and his fans are sorry little brainless brainwashed sheep. Snitches get stitches. Mikey is like that obnoxious kid in school who snitches to the teacher about everyone, in Germany between 1941 and 1945, Mikey would snitch to the swastika-loving regime that started WWII.

He’s using the latest technology ie; bodycams e.t.c. It’s dangerous, one day he will ‘get it’. They will nick his camera (evidence). Most of his stuff is not saving lives, as the perpetrators are not committing the crime in a dangerous way, however they are breaking the law. It’s a bit of a grey area, by this I mean, how can you justify the same penalty for somebody sitting in traffic as somebody doing 70mph down the motorway?
