Alpe d’Huez 🏔🏆

With its unmistakable 21 hairpins, it’s cycling’s most famous climb. Alpe d’Huez has appeared in more than 30 Tours de France, and is eagerly awaited by hordes of fans who line its route. When the Tour hits the Alpe – drama is guaranteed. Legends who’ve won here include Coppi, Hinault, and Pantani. Conor Dunne is joined by ex-pro Fränk Schleck on a personal pilgrimage to the peak on which they both watched their heroes as kids, inspiring Fränk to his 2006 iconic victory on the mythical mountain.
