  1. Most enjoyable, thank you for sharing your ride. I just hate it when it rains on a ride, especially when no rain is forecast. It’s not so much for me, but I don’t like getting my bike all splashed up and then having to clean it again. Your route brought back happy memories of my dad taking me to Google docks, many years ago, when it was a thriving port. We often used to go there as an excursion when visiting my grandma who lived at Askern. Yes, I remember the tragic event at Flixborough, it was well covered by the National news. So thanks again, look forward to the next one, best wishes. BTW, which do you prefer riding, the CCM and the BSA ?

  2. Never trust the weather forecast or app reports!lol. I haven’t done the loop between Swinefleet & Luddington yet, but it’s been on the meaning to do for ages. Again some great local info, especially the clock. Can’t see me getting out much now until March arrives 😢.

  3. Omg, when did you do this? Lovely ride (again) and in time to use as a pick-me-up as I sit here with just 4x4s and snow ploughs passing by outside. It's -1°C with no sign of it changing for a while… come to sunny Switzerland the tourist guy said! But honestly though, up in the Alps it really is beautiful but, here in the lowlands, life's a bit drab right now.
Yep, winter is here. Enjoy your "fine" english weather, I'm thinking, as I try to decide between a Cuppa or a double Single Malt!

  4. That CCM sounds good, especially when the exhaust note can bounce off walls and the like. It slightly resembles the eBike Maeving RM1 at first glance.
Are you still pleased with the Beeline? Mine is still waiting to be mounted. Can't wait to try it out next spring, as I don't like big chunky things mounted on the bars, All snowed up here now, so that gives me time to get it mounted.

  5. I enjoyed the video very much mostly because i didn`t get wet🙂but you made the best of it Rog.The weather forcasts are mostly wrong or let me say different to what is forcasted so you almost expect it to be otherwise.I think the bike is super with a nice exhaust rumble and she looks really good too. Thanks for taking me with you,by the way the weather hier in Austria is about 1 degree cold and a lot of snow about 10 to 20 inches high, hope we have white christmas cheers Pete🍀🍀🍀

  6. Ive not visited that part of Lincs,, but I did a ride out to Alkborough which is just across the Trent from Blacktoft sands.. I was investigating "Julians Bower". Even after googling I thought it so strange and thought I better take a peep….. 1st law of motorcycling,, if you do,nt take your water proofs,it will rain !!!!!

  7. Enjoying these rambles and commentary plus picture quality up to 4K on this video, looks great on a large screen. I used to visit for project work at Finningley so know some of the area. Have you changed the camera or just the settings?

  8. very interesting ,,, you keep yourself young by going from a modern hand built special right back to a 1940's harley ;;; what is the ccm like ??? it seems to make light work of this trip …

  9. Thanks for another interesting combined history and geography lesson old-n-Goldie. That bike is very photogenic. Watch any three weather forecasts for the same place and you soon realise a pair of eyes and a wet finger in the air are probably just as reliable 😁. Cheers, Mick
