Recent upgrade in bikes meant my 2018 Vitus Escarpe was free for a service. (First service since I’d owned it in 3 years 😬)
What was initially just going to be a fork and shock job turned into pulling notchy/partially seized bearings…. And then it just made sense while the frame was apart to strip the paint off and dress it in some new colours right?
I’ve gone with a metallic British racing green theme and opted for a less is more on the sizing of the gold decals.
Not much left to do now, just waiting on the shock to come back from being serviced (apparently it’s not meant to sound like your fisting a jar of mayonnaise when it compresses) and cable tie accessory hoses to the frame and jobs done.
